The quote from the weekly address the Washington Post left out:"And today, there's no greater threat to our planet than climate change."
Terrorists acquiring nukes, beheadings for Christians, participation in the work force at an all time low, Russia invading and threatening neighbors, but the man child says there is NO GREATER THREAT than my SUV.
Moronic. And the Washington Post ignores his blatantly ignorant statement.

Florida news. Valerie’s man child is intruding this week.
Rick Scott’s lawsuit against him must really have struck a nerve.

I know how to slow the rise in sea levels!!
A lot of rain falls on California -- and most of it flows directly into the sea, compounding this sea level problem, and directly threatening Florida.
Here's what they should do in California: build a lot of dams. Capture that water. Use it to counteract their drought. And save the Everglades.
Is Obama "for" or "against"?

Climate change can no longer be denied or ignored, said Obama.Who is denying that the climate changes? If it wasn't for climate change, there'd be no Great Lakes, no Niagara Falls, no Yosemite Sam National Park, no GLACIER National Park.
All these natural wonders were carved out by advancing and retreating glaciers.
Mr. Obola, why do you hate Niagara Falls? What did Yosemite Sam National Park ever do to you? Would you prefer the Great Lakes remain a mountain of ice?

Our idiot in chief would be better off addressing the invasive species invasion in the Everglades.
Besides the Pythons there are no 4-5' long South American lizards in breeding populations.

Years ago my parents went to the Everglades. My dad said he didn’t understand the big deal about it. It was a swamp. Mr. M and I went in February. My dad was right. We canoed (by ourselves not a guided tour) half a day into the mangroves and we saw lots of mangroves and that’s pretty much it. Then we road our bikes several miles on a trail through the mangroves and other trees and say pretty much nothing but mangroves and swampy ground. I’m sure it’s important to Florida tourism and I apologize if I’m insulting any Floridian freepers but Florida is way overrated. I don’t feel compelled to ever go again.

The Everglades is one of the most special places in our country, the president said. But its also one of the most fragile. Rising sea levels are putting a national treasure and an economic engine for the South Florida tourism industry at risk.
An extremist, anti-government organization called NOAA has this to say about rising sea levels:
Mean Sea Level Trend Key West, Florida
"The mean sea level trend is 2.31 millimeters/year with a 95% confidence interval of +/- 0.15 mm/yr based on monthly mean sea level data from 1913 to 2013 which is equivalent to a change of 0.76 feet in 100 years."
So yes, the sea level is rising. Anyone with a house within 0.76 feet of high tide should plan on relocating within the next 100 years. Clearly this is an emergency requiring a major tax increase.
Of course, "high water events" do occur in Key West, per hurricanecity.com:
Key west,Florida's history with tropical systems
My grandfather lost his house in Key West due to a hurricane in 1909. He rebuilt on the same spot. He was angry and decided to use wooden pegs instead of nails. When we visited the Keys after the turn of the millenium, the house looked the same (except in color) as the old family photographs. But in those days, people did not build on the shore and then expect a government handout when disaster struck.

Bunk. About fifty years ago the Everglades were so dry everyone said the ONLY thing that could save them was a hurricane.
The Everglades are STILL with us!
