That time was quite a while ago, when Congress passed the forfeiture laws allowing the IRS to accuse a taxpayer of some infraction, seize the property, homes and businesses of the accused, lose in the tax court, and NEVER GIVE BACK WHAT THEY WRONGFULLY TOOK! The Founders have been rolling over in their graves for years over that blatant persecution of taxpayers by this greedy government.
But no offsetting cuts in spending. Which is my only real complaint about the plan.

Interesting article. But some propaganda in there. Not sure why anyone needs to hire an accountant. Before retiring, I ran 3 small businesses and never needed an accountant. Still do my own taxes even now and I have to complete 9 forms.
I will agree it can be complicated and requires elimination. 9 forms is 9 too many.

With State/local taxes it has to be 40-50%.
Thou shall not steal. I an not a Bible scholar nor do I play one on the internet, that said I have never come across an exemption for majority vote. We have become a nation of thieves. 99% of Christians are very much on board with this. This will not end well.
