Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has a small lead over Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker in a new national poll on the possible 2016 GOP presidential field.

Mr. Bush is the choice of 13 percent of Republican voters in the Monmouth University poll, followed by Mr. Cruz and Mr. Walker at 11 percent apiece. Mr. Cruz officially launched a bid for the White House last month.

Jeb is merely raising money for the future hand picked Establishment (Vichy) Republican candidate.

Jeb Bush has edge on wide-open 2016 GOP field: poll

They can TELL you this 24/7 but it doesn't make it TRUE.

Because of the "Bush" name I doubt that he would pull 30-35% of the vote tops.

They're very busy trying to SELL a "D" product using a "C" marketing team

Jebster is the RNC and Cheap Labor Express candidate.
He has the big donors.
He has the party appartatus.
The RNC has almost perfected nominating the least liked candidate. Blue states early and open primaries in red states. Nomination sewn up by March before many even get to vote. That’s how we got McCain and Romney. Some of them are running as blockers for Bush, Graham for sure, probably Rubio and Huckabee as well. Splitting the vote so Jeb can run up the middle is how they’ll do it.

The only way to avoid Jebster being the designated loser of a dying GOP is to all get behind Ted Cruz early. He’s clearly the most consistent conservative.

(I like what Walker is saying now about illegal aliens, but I’m not sure I believe him because of what he said before)

Rand Paul On Shutdown: "Even Though It Appeared I Was Participating In It, It Was A Dumb Idea"
I said throughout the whole battle that shutting down the government was a dumb idea. Even though it did appear as if I was participating in it, I said it was a dumb idea. And the reason I voted for it, though, is that it's a conundrum. Here's the conundrum. We have a $17 trillion debt and people at home tell me you can't give the president a blank check. We just can't keep raising the debt ceiling without conditions. So unconditionally raising the debt ceiling, nobody at home wants me to vote for that and I can't vote for that. But the conundrum is if I don't we do approach these deadlines. So there is an impasse. In 2011, though, we had this impasse and the president did negotiate. We got the sequester. If we were to extend the sequester from discretionary spending to all the entitlements we would actually fix our problem within a few years.

Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften war stance
...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said.

Rand Paul's immigration speech
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reform
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...

Rand Slams Congress for Funding Egypt's Generals: 'How Does Your Conscience Feel Now?'
Sen. Rand Paul is hammering his fellow senators for keeping billions in financial aid flowing to Egypt's military -- even as Cairo's security forces massacre anti-government activists. [by "anti-government activists" is meant church-burning Christian-murdering jihadists]

Actually, this is good news. It means Cruz is within two points of Bush and tied with Walker and that nobody has a sizeable advantage yet. If nobody polls better than 13%, it tells me the electorate isn’t sure who they want and that benefits the outsider with less name recognition.

The media will show great love for Jeb until he gets the nomination and then they will destroy him overnight.

not always. Here in VA Dave Brat ran against Eric Canter (who had a ton more money) and Eric Canter lost!

I never, never thought I’d hear myself say this, but if Jeb gets the Republican nomination, I will not vote for him. There is nothing to significantly distinguish him from a liberal opponent unless you count the fact that the liberal is just honest enough to admit that they are a liberal. He’d go up a little in my estimation if he’d switch parties. Either way, it would decimate my principles to vote for a liberal.

Ailes keeps directing his FOX team to push this guy and attack people like Cruz. They even like Linda Graham, one of the biggest RINO phonies around. I find myself watching Beck and the Blaze more often.

The day that Cruz announced I couldn’t listen to Fox. You would think someone had thrown a piece of red meat into a pack of starving hyenas. They attacked him with descriptive words that I rarely hear them using on any but the most intensely liberal candidates. They had to bend reality and pretend to misunderstand Cruz in order to make the words fit. They are telling us very clearly that they fear him.

It really goes to illustrate where the network’s loyalties lie and it isn’t with the Conservatives. Ailes is a Rino at best and we should not forget that.
