My son is going through the same thing, semaj, and it’s not pretty. He used to make over $100/hour for tech jobs but now he’s competing with guys in India who will do them for $20. He’s freelancing, doing the best he can. Just wait until TTP is passed. It will only get worse.
OTOH, for people who have no skills and never held a job, there are many possibilities. Learning to become a baker truly holds promise — for them. This is not what you want to hear, nor does my son.

I boycott Adam Sandler on general principle. He’s obnoxious and not funny, a good example of the pathetic stuff that passes for humor these days.

Mel Brooks would slap him across the face for that one. Not comedy, but debasing, bowel-driven and derived, gross-out behavior that doesn't even approach being defined with humor.
And the inference to the indians as animals not even with the same neighborhood as remotely acceptable.
