Not only that, but Walker has allowed pro-life bills to sit on his desk and has done nothing to support traditional marriage in his state. He came out and said directly that there would be no religious liberty bills in Wisconsin.
Yes, I saw your post #1 narrative, presumably about the article Ms. Sanchez wrote, but conveniently every sentence in your post #1 was about all sorts of past and present statements, events and meetings about just-Cruz that to me didn’t really discuss the relevancy to Ms Sanchez’ piece.
I guess it wouldn’t be cricket to go into Walker’s past positions on immigration and his transition to the right, huh?

I certainly agree with you. I just assert there is a major difference between Hispanic citizens of the US that work, pay taxes and don’t go on entitlements aren’t the real problem for the political caucus.
The real problem is the illegal aliens and the no-value-added they bring with them. Pawns in a deadlocked political battle for the control of this country. Not brought here to add value, but brought here (yes, now BROUGHT) to vote Democrat, period.
My problem is with articles like Sanchez’ hit piece on Cruz under the guise of overall Latino sentiment (and whizzing over any mention of ‘illegal’) being a real problem to him being promulgated here on this forum to put Cruz in a bad light.
You don’t see me badmouthing Walker to the extent that some of this pseudo-informational stuff about Cruz posted here does.
I TRY to stay away from that and let the candidates offer their wares and see what happens in the primaries. But it is difficult when I see threads like this.
I didn’t jumble. You slammed together 5 or 6 sentences about Cruz’ past thoughts and actions, slyly not mentioning your candidate. They weren’t about what Sanchez was talking about in the article really.
I’ve said my piece on the trail of tears re: Walker’s changes in the past up to his now-position and really haven’t gone out of my way to document all that like you did here with Cruz.
MY point is that your #1 wasn’t responsive to, nor really relevant to the content and purpose of the titled article, period. It was just a means to talk about Cruz without Walker in the mix. Bad cricket in my opinion.

Another fact that the major media won't report is they don't vote as a block on the issue of illegal immigration, at least not in Texas. In the 2014 election for Lt. Governor in Texas, the candidate most vocal on border security and removing benefits for illegal aliens received 53% of the male Hispanic vote and won easily against his Democrat opponent.

It’s too bad you aren’t as probing and exhaustive with other candidates in like manner.
I ‘get’ stumping for your candidate however you can. I don’t get the sudden switch to Cruz-bash articles by liberals like Sanchez. Perhaps the reason for all this is the real danger liberals see in Cruz as a final nominee. I now see a little bit of that here too, but for a different purpose.

My hope (and that’s not much of a strategy) is Hispanic traditions and family centric values will backfire on the left who assumes providing entry into the US is all that is needed to secure their vote.
If I was Hispanic, I would be quite offended to think the freedom I just gained was being reprimanded by the those who supposedly gave it to me - that I was required to vote for tax enslavement as a quid pro quot.

Hispanics are similar to blacks in welfare dependency, education, out of wedlock births and criminality. They are not natural Conservatives. They are natural gibmedats, for the most part, like their illegal cousins.

Is the author aware that Cruz ran for the Senate in Texas in 2012?
According to a Latino Decisions poll in that election, Cruz got just 35% of the Hispanic vote.
And that made him think Hispanic voters could be taken over by the GOP?
I think he's targeting tea party voters and evangelicals, with conservative hispanics third.
It's a realistic strategy that doesn't compromise his principles.
