The black-led Baltimore city government and Mayor Rawlings-Blake pleaded with CVS to build the store (in the “underserved” community) that blacks subsequently burned down. CVS would be FOOLISH to rebuild in that location; they’d be better off just razing the property and walk away. Will they do that? Probably not since political correctness will dictate that they rebuild. Rebuild even if the location suffers perennial losses due to rampant shoplifting!

Yah, clearly $22 Trillion has just not been enough. Nobody understands the scope of the problem.
The Europeans use the Marshall Plan to successfully rebuild devastated nations and to modernize their societies. They had leaders who were smart and responsible, for the most part.
These devastated cities were not ruined by outside forces as were the Europeans, but by their own corrupt leaders at every level. A Marshall Plan would be futile and waste. The money would go down the drain as has all the billions spent to improve urban areas and their peoples over the past 30 years or so. Urban areas have developed a new breed of people called “parasites.”
Tom Brokaw net worth as listed on the internet is 70 billion. Since he feels inner cities are such a worthwhile investment he should take half of that and invest it along with gov’t projects
I’m all for having military planes overfly Baltimore and Detroit and dropping things on them; think Dresden.
The problem is both lib and conservative elites have the wrong solutions to the problem. Libs think a lot more money and more privileges will work. They clearly won't.
Conservative elites think better schools and emphasis on family values will work. That will likewise fail. All the people in the inner-city already have the choice to send their kids to better schools. (Read Robert Weissberg's "Bad Students, Not Bad Schools") They, the parents, don't care. They don't show up now for their kid's PTAs.
What we, the nation, are up against is a very large percentage of the population, The Black Underclass, for whom nothing can be done. That's the ugly truth that the elites don't want to face.

Let Brokejaw and all his lefty buddies take these “urban yoots” into their own homes and provide for them, if they feel so strongly. Just what the hell does he think the trillions of dollars are, which have gone into the gaping maw of black dysfunction for decades now? Who does he think is going to be squeezed for anymore? Or could he ever admit that he doesn’t give a damn that the middle and working classes are being wiped out to support the animals in the style to which they’ve become accustomed and think they’re owed?
Or maybe just brain or DNA transplants-those wouldn’t be any more futile goals than the ones we’ve spent trillions on already.
We need to recognise that this is not about uplifting blacks-that’s been shown to be impossible-it’s just the best means they’ve found to redistribute wealth from the makers to the parasites, after the self-appointed elite get the cream of it. And because it’s “rayciss”, it’s supposed to be unanswerable and inarguable. Well, I’m answering and arguing, and if all the other side has is to call me racist, bring it.
Isn’t that the truth Mainstream conservatives have their heads just as firmly in the sand as does the left.
