Ben Carson, famed neurosurgeon, running for president

Ben Carson, retired neurosurgeon turned conservative star, has confirmed that he will seek the Republican presidential nomination in 2016.

Carson, who has never run for public office, is expected to be the only high-profile African-American to enter the GOP’s presidential primary as he tries to parlay his success as an author and speaker into a competitive campaign against established politicians.

“I’m willing to be part of the equation and therefore, I’m announcing my candidacy for president of the United States of America,” he said in an interview aired Sunday night by Ohio’s WKRC television station.

He is set to make a more formal announcement during a speech from his native Detroit on Monday.

It depends on whether or not they are under cloud cover, or in outer space. I normally do not have to state the obvious, but in your case it appears an exception may be in order, since your residency also appears to be the latter.

I had another liberal once tell me almost that same thing rather than simply admit it. I think you guys have a script.

Still doesn’t explain why you continue denying Carson’s statement and twerking around the fact you look like an utter fool doing it.

Why do you call me a liberal when my intention at this time would be to vote for Cruz? Cognitive disconnect much?

You’re a lib because you deny reality. It’s not hard to do the math. A man makes a clear statement, you deny the statement was made. Proof is shown in the form of said statement and you deny words mean what they say.

Thats the behavior of every liberal from Bill Clinton to JonBon and Mitch.

“Cities do not need the Second Amendment” is not a clear statement made by Ben Carson. That is a statement you would like to put in his mouth. Guess what that makes you?

It makes me correct because unless I’m mistaken, and of course I’m not, carrying out his action means the 2A is gone. The 2A would prevent it. If it cannot prevent, it cannot be said to exist.

You realize you are advocating gun control right?

The Second Amendment is clear that the right to bear arms shall not be infringed. It does not “cease to exist” because certain politicians iterate desired structures/infringements upon it. Nor do such strictures by default indicate that cities have no need of the Second Amendment, or that the said politician thereby waives any and all need for the Second Amendment.

So how is the 2A in effect when a president clearly violates it by stripping citizens of their 2A protected weapons in cities?

I don’t see Carson’s words as in any way stripping urban dwellers of their weapons, but as desirous of placing limitations upon them. Not that I think this is right, but that is what he is saying. He is NOT saying the Second Amendment is to have no effect in those places.

Next tell the class, if he was not talking about cities, does that mean he was talking about stripping guns in larger populated villages but leaving them in cities with massively more people?

So if not a city, what was he saying exactly?

Perhaps the stupidest thing ever said on FR. And that’s truly an impressive feat.

Have a good life lib. We’re done.
