Is this an exaggeration? Or really true. ( I hope it is true.)

The addiction has been on-going for me since the Chick-fil-a debacle. You don’t really become un-addicted to free republic. You just remember to go to work, and pay your electric bill, and DSL bill otherwise NO free republic.

I think the school was reacting to the suspended students breaking a rule about using social media during during certain school times.

No different than asking students to wear Philadelphia Eagles colors to school. Why, are the Philadelphia Eagles a bunch of disease-ridden, child-molesting whack-jobs?
You must be thinking of Penn State.

RE:”

They should be outlawed.
The First Amendment doesn't protect death threats
When will we setup concentration camps for those who opposed gay marriage? Those folks exploit our tolerant society.

Well Olivia... the outcome from these students asking other students to wear rainbow colors seems to be more of a compelling than an asking. So, do you wear your rainbow colors when asked?

Being an offensive [expletive] is not expressing your feelings. One of the suspended students tweeted:
isn’t being homosexual offensive to muslims. So this homosxual day needs to stop!!

RE:”

Punishing them for ‘speaking out’ about others anti-tolerance
Why do we allow those who deny global warming, err climate change, and who are against gay marriage to live?
Its anti-tolerant.

The students wore the t-shirts because the gays provoked them so it’s ok.
We had 11 kids suspended here for “liking” a video of some kid tearing one of those pro-gay posters off the wall at school. Not for commenting in anyway, just for “liking” a video on Facebook. I got into it with some idiot in the local comments section and he kept spouting about “hate speech”, when in reality he just didn’t want to look at the free speech issue. I didn’t even argue against the right for homosexuals to be homosexuals, I only argued that those opposed to it have as much right to free speech as those that support it. I finally gave up talking to the guy because it was apparent that he was completely unwilling to discuss why his free speech was more valuable than their free speech.
