- as a side note, was a same sex marriage proponent.....just sayin....
Let the next round of baseless speculation begin...
It’s been reported on several FR threads: this is a homosexual activist who has already lawyered up...
Hitting the brakes hard while entering the curve may have been deliberate and premeditated to add to the speed forces in wrecking the train.
The Raging Queen, who lives in Queens, “can’t recall.” Another German Wings poofter who threw a hissy fit b/c his boyfriend threw him out, or he was pederasty sexting his boy toys.
Check his smartphone, he may have been distracted from his duties while texting.........
“My mind’s in a blender.”
He may be lawyered up, but I was gratified to learn that he has been drug tested by the police and interviewed for 6 hours.
Very fishy when the lawyer says his client “has no recollection” of going 106 MPH.
Not too long ago a train derailed killing people on a corner because the train was going to fast. Was this the same corner? They have cars that drive themselves so why can’t they apply the brakes on trains going too fast? Why can’t train speeds be monitored and speeding tickets issued?
You can be assured if he had been a tea party member
.....and or Republican
....and or church deacon, etc......
.....this would be the headline of anything written about the tragedy!
Because he apparently is not only a gay, but a gay activist......
...only talk radio and conservative sites will report it.
i guess it’s hard to remember when yer taking a nap...
Well, they handed him his orders in Monroe, Virginia,
Sayin’, “Steve, you’re way behind time.
This is not 38, it is Old 97
You must put her into Spencer on time.”
Well, the engineer he said to his black, greasy fireman
“Shovel on a little more coal,
And when we cross that White Oak Mountain
You can watch Old 97 roll.”
It’s a mighty hard road from Lynchburg to Danville
A road with a three-mile grade.
It was on that grade that he lost his airbrake,
You can see what a jump she made.
He was goin’ down the grade making 90 miles an hour,
When his whistle broke into a scream,
He was found in the wreck with his hand on the throttle,
He was scalded to death by the steam.
Now the telegram came into Washington Station
And this is what it said:
That brave engineer that drove old 97
Is layin’ down in Danville, dead.
Now listen, all you ladies, you must all take a warning,
From this story a lesson learn:
Never speak harsh words to your true lovin’ husband,
He may leave you and never return.
Probably inattentive and texting. I wonder how many sharp turns there are on the whole route, and whether he had driven it before.
It’s hard to believe that the train information system today would be so primitive that he would be required to adjust speed by eyeballing the curve ahead of him, so WTF? He should have had clear knowledge of where he was and what the speed requirements were.
He should have been tested for seizures, stroke and heart attack.
Wonder if it is too late to test for these potential problems?
And yet, we’re supposed to TRUST him - and them...
Fact and not speculation:
Amtrak CEO: Appointed by Obama.
Amtrak Policy: "Our diversity training program is designed to be an ongoing journey that emphasizes key principles of diversity and inclusion ."
Amtrak Results: Target cashier becomes Amtrak "death-train" engineer
And that has what to do with the crash? Just askin...
I had a friend who was in a horrible accident who lawyered up right afterward who was told by his lawyer to say “I don’t remember anything except waking up in the ambulance.....before that I remember driving along normally with no incident “.
Typical lawyer stuff.
