Now it makes sense

Why would a country at war with islamic terrorists, indiscriminately import thousands of potential problems? Why would that SAME country also allow a porous, if not inviting, border for 'potentially hostile refugees' on the southern border while keeping the northern border hypersecure from people of a historical alliance?

You can't solve a problem till there IS a problem, and it's way easier to solve if you created the problem. Remember Rahm, “never let a serious crises go to waste”

Fast & furious and the porous southern border/importation of muslim refugees. It seems to be the same strategy of creating a problem, so that it can be 'solved' with new laws or more criminal prosecutions. New gun laws couldn't be proposed without a demonstrable need, so if it can be proven that US guns are being used to kill innocent foreign nationals, ergo rein in US sales with more control etc.

Just As Fast & Furious tried to create a emergency with innocent Mexican deaths from US supplied assault weapons, our Executive branch is 'terrorist walking' unvetted immigrants from the south and known hostile muslim countries, waiting for an unfortunate 'event' so horrific that new, more intrusive legislation is just “common sense”. Big government is creating the problem with our open southern border allowing unchecked crossings and lax follow up, compounded by importing 'refugees' with a known hatred for our style of life.

Sooner rather than later, given the increased number of possible players, an event or events will occur, forcing even more stringent laws and application to ALL Americans. Look at what the TSA gets away with at an airport. Extrapolate that to all travel in the US.

Cui bono. Whenever it doesn't make sense, ask “who benefits?” In this case, it certainly isn't the American people.

all politicians know that if all problems are solved then the politicians, courts and ‘the system’ is out of business and no longer needed ... 1 + 1 (simple math)

Once the tyranny moves out to the rural suburbs, patriotic vigilantes will squelch the threat.

That's why it hasn't happened, yet.

Well, then this should make sense:

The Dead Horse Theory.

The tribal wisdom of the Plains Indians, passed on from generation to generation, says that: "When you discover that you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount."

However, in government, more advanced strategies are often employed, such as:

1. Buying a stronger whip.
2. Changing riders.
3. Appointing a committee to study the dead horse.
4. Arranging to visit other countries to see how other cultures ride dead horses.
5. Lowering the standards so that dead horses can be included.
6. Reclassifying the dead horse as living-impaired.
7. Hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse.
8. Harnessing several dead horses together to increase speed.
9. Providing additional funding and/or training to increase the dead horse's performance.
10. Doing a productivity study to see if lighter riders would improve the dead horse's performance.
11. Declaring that as the dead horse does not have to be fed, it is less costly, carries lower overhead and therefore contributes substantially more to the bottom line of the economy than do some other horses.
12. Rewriting the expected performance requirements for all horses.

And, of course...

13. Promoting the dead horse to a supervisory position.

Islam is at war with us.

We are not at war with Islam.

The Ministry Of Propaganda has convinced a majority that Islam is a peaceful religion, against all historical evidence, and that we must accomodate them within our society. Even if that means the end of our sciety.
That is probably the ultimate goal.

Indeed. If Free Republic was National Enquirer the headline would read:

IS OBAMA A MUSLIM MOLE?

But of course we are much too polite around here to pose a rhetorical question like that.

But, then again, ...

.... Liberals do not understand basic logical concepts such as ..... "An Ounce of Prevention is Worth a Pound of Cure."

.... Neither do they understand the concepts of Cause and Effect or Repercussions for their Actions. However ... with this administration .... everything that is done is done for deliberate reasons. If you know a man's past and how he thinks ... you can also piece together his plans and motives.

In WWII, we had concentration camps and whether you agree or disagree, the nation and its leaders had a completely different mindset. Today it’s pretty much as you have said.

Note that the "T" stands for "Transportation", so using bureaucratic creep, Transportation also involves rails and roads. Coming soon to your neighborhood.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and ... that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! ...”

This kind of religious deception was written about several thousand gears ago by Isaiah.

I understand TSA is already doing random traffic stops in the northern half of the country. You get stopped and you and your car get searched without benefit of any paperwork. And they are on some trains and in some train stations.

What the writer describes would certainly be seen as an added benefit by those behind the policy he describes; but it is a mistake to focus primarily on the religious extremist aspect. What we have in progress in America is an Egalitarian/Collectivist policy that embraces the mantra of a fantasy that all peoples are basically interchangeable--that their characteristics are derived from their social environment, rather than the reality that people create their social environment, not the other way around.

The Egalitarian mantra is an attack on the very concept of the Nation; an attack on all the fundamental rights that we once believed an individual was entitled to as an individual, in favor of a new world order, where a collectivized humanity will retain all the rights of an ant in a gigantic ant hill; and all life-styles, still permitted, will be seen as equivalent. The ultimate goal of any further crack-down on individual freedom in America--as those goals thus far--will continue to be supported by the contemporary collectivist demagogues' "Useful Idiots," who continue to be driven by a compulsion to ignore the realities of human differences & their relationship to all social interaction.

Hostile refugees = Drug Cartels as well as terrorists. This article covers just a portion of 'the' problem.....Crime/terrorism is supported by the Drug Cartels who in turn use our Politically Correct Laws to further their invasion.....we have laws that protect American Citizens but under the Obama Administration those laws are not being enforced. Some 46.2 million Americans are on food stamps...how much of that government assistance goes for illegal drugs is undetermined...due to corrupt politicians who will do anything, including let food stamps be used for illicit purchases....one in five Americans report nearly daily use of a mood-altering substance...that does not include alcohol or tobacco. A Denver, CO. passed out using drugs...the article treats that teacher/drug event as 'tho it was ho-hum.

This nation is in a heap of mire...No National Pride, just gay & lesbian pride...few honor the passing of our nation's flag with hand over heard and hat's off; fewer are assimilating as Americans; no God allowed in school prayer etc. no manners....the list is long........................

All of which reflect the fanaticism of the Egalitarian/Collectivists to whom all peoples are interchangeable; all lifestyles are equally acceptable--with the exception, of course, of those established by patriots, who wish to preserve their unique heritages.

Unless & until we recognize the compulsion being exploited by those who mean us ill--that is, the neurotic need to pretend that you can solve problems by pretending that everyone is basically interchangeable;--those manipulating the way the issues are being presented, will continue to have their way.
