Today we head to the range to honor TexasCowboy's love of the 2nd Amendment by shooting lots of guns & eating BBQ on the range.
Friday was a day of leisure, shopping, getting items stuck in a tree, eating yummy food and cursing a stupid fishing poles. Fun times!

What wasn't modern?
You would love the place!
Points to ponder:
The prices at the Indian Lodge are lower.
But, no close restaurants. So we would have to be self contained.
The cabins are much closer together, more secure, modernized, and has many more beds.
As opposed to the only 4 cabins and the Bates Motel accomodations we observed this weekend.
We would be even closer to the river place to shoot. Which seems to be a favorite of many. There is a better Denny’s in to that location than the last one that was a disappointment.
How was the visit to the range on yer way home?
Forgot to mention the 8 pack of middle eastern young men that were staying in the cabin next to me and BT last night...
I will consider all points.
The range was closed due to the weather. I’ll make a trip over there when it’s not so muddy. Don’t want to plan around the place sight unseen.
I’ll ponder using the river range, because it is so awesome, but still want to try different ranges to keep with the TC theme.

The problem as I see it is that one cannot express tone on the internets without resorting to stupid emoticons. Words being mere vehicles, a good driver becomes essential to arriving at one’s destination.
And we all know what a damn good driver I am! I only occasionally run over metal ramps and bird baths when they are between me and my destination. So, it was totally not my fault that gunner left his ramps in my way.
What was I saying about tone and emoticons? I don’t know. I had a point. It was something about accidentally driving over someone’s ramps and feeling crappy about it but it all working out in the end because the ramps weren’t more important than the friendship and the friend even thought the ramps were slightly improved by the aforementioned adjustment.
Yeah, that was it. Y’all stop drivin’ over each other. We’re all going the same way and no, penelopesire ain’t drivin’. Heh!
