WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Tensions are building inside and outside the white marble facade of the U.S. Supreme Court building as the nine justices prepare to issue major rulings on gay marriage and President Barack Obama's healthcare law by the end of the month.

Sickening that major social and political issues are decided by an appointed judiciary in a republic. The Supreme Court is responsible for abortion on demand and the legalization of homosexuality that in effect acquiesces to the widespread molestation and ruination of young boys. How can any rational decent person support that Court or take an oath to serve and uphold it?

The communists’ 100-year-long “march through the institutions” is pretty much complete, with nothing to show for it but cultural disintegration and degradation.

And they’re still not satisfied.

My hope is that a Convention of the States proposes amendments that will begin to undo the Wilson-era Amendments that began their long march.

-— John Roberts, the swing vote when the court upheld Obamacare in 2012, said little during the March 4 oral argument to indicate how he will vote. -—

Uh-oh.

I will be very surprised if Obamacare is struck down.

The Supreme Court has neither the authority nor the ability to define marriage; any more than it can decide that the sun should rise in the West every other day in order to maintain equality of the directions.

God decided those matters when he designed the creation. Anything else is just pretense, or hubris —”My will be done!”

Sickening that major social and political issues are decided by an appointed judiciary in a republic.

Sickening that any issues are decided by the state, and not by the individuals involved.

Constitutions don't work, for the same reason that letting a private business regulate/police itself doesn't work.

“The man who puts all the guns and all the decision-making power into the hands of the central government and then says, ‘Limit yourself’; it is he who is truly the impractical utopian.” ~ Rothbard
“But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case it is unfit to exist.” ~ Lysander Spooner

Whatever they decide won’t change the laws of nature and nature’s God or the Constitution one whit.

In other words, what they’re really deciding is whether they themselves, and the offices they hold, will be legitimate or not.

Meanwhile, the state-run media is putting the claim out there (the propaganda) that the Charleston murders are the result of this country moving too far to the right.

Did the person writing that idea slip into a coma and just came out thinking it is 1955?

This country is being kicked and dragged and ridiculed and bludgeoned to the left.

The series of USSC rulings that are about to rip the heart out of this nation (just as Dred Scot and Roe v. Wade) is just another nail in our coffin.

We will have to see how well the Obama administration's threats, intimidation and bribery strategy is working.

It's worked well in Congress.

Why not?

Just because free markets haven't existed for decades, doesn't mean they don't work.

a compromise would be for the court to rule that marriage is between a man and a woman but that states could allow formal cohabitation contracts among two individuals that put the matter of property ownership, joint taxes, child adoption and a host of other. such an arrangement would be similar to a partnership agreement or LLC corporation

True-—about the Long March-—but it is the public school indoctrination system which keeps a vise on the minds of the useful idiots the system just pumps out by the millions.

We need to take back the schools-—only Classical Education-—throw out all books published after John Dewey’s Progressive takeover of “education”.

We need to reestablish Natural marriage—make Laws which uphold Natural Duty of individuals which forces people to be responsible for the nurture and education of any progeny, so people can flourish-—the Family Unit for emotionally healthy and people with Common Sense (understanding of Natural Law) and a virtuous people. Without Virtue embedded and habituated in early childhood—culture will collapse.

Teaching children critical thinking skills is essential (Classical Education only) and getting government OUT of all education is essential. As JS Mill stated—State control of education will only make slaves for the State.

My hope is a person like Rand Paul or Ted Cruz declares “Null and Void” all institutions and laws and regulations that are antithetical to the Constitution and Rule of Law (Higher Law/God’s).

As John Marshall stated-—all “unjust law” (that which promotes vice, evil or unequal (progressive tax) law”) which ceases to be Just (virtuous) cease to be Law.

All a politician or judge has to do is pronounce the laws “unjust”-—and they are Null and Void-—as stated in the Nuremberg Trials-—we are NOT supposed to obey “unjust, evii promoting “law””.

As Thomas Aquinas stated: When Law ceases to be Just, it ceases to be Law”.....and that is the basis of American Jurisprudence until Holmes, Jr. took Virtue (unconstitutional) out of our “Justice” System to promote Satanic, Marxist ethics and overthrow our Justice System (which was UNCONSTITUTIONAL).

We have to return to our Constitution that already exists.

The constitution is a tool. The fact that American citizens have chosen to appoint public servants that refuse to use it correctly is not a reflection of the tool.

And exactly, precisely what, pray tell, is your superior solution to a constitution based on God-given natural rights?

If a man and a woman get married and, immediately following the words “I now pronounce you man and wife”, one of them drops dead, the survivor cannot claim the estate of the dead person because the wedding was never cosumated. How do two men married to each other or two women married to each other consumate their marriage, the men do not have vaginas and the women do not have penises. Look up the definition for consumate.

The final nail in the coffin is at hand. The clearest demarcation point in the transformation of this once-great country into the degenerate sewer it has become. A nation so morally twisted that it equates two perverted homos as the same as a husband-and-wife is no longer a nation that is worth fighting for.

Yes, I could go along with that EXCEPT for the adoption issue. To send orphans or other unfortunate boys into households of queers would be a terrible crime IMO.
