Real-estate mogul and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump scored second place in a New Hampshire poll released Tuesday.
"Jeb Bush continues to lead, but Donald Trump has emerged as an anti-Jeb Bush alternative in New Hampshire," said David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center.
Trump's relatively strong performance in the poll quickly drew notice from political journalists

Sometimes, the GOP is real joke.
Okay, most of the time.
New Hampshire can be quirky. Remember in ‘68, Henry Cabot Lodge won the primary, who wasn’t even in the country and wasn’t even running!
Whoever pushes Jeb! down the list, I’ll be eternally grateful!
68, Henry Cabot Lodge?
Oook.
Well, Trump is pro-choice and anti-gun, and his favorite president is Bill Clinton, and Trump was a democrat for Obama’s election.
New Hampshire voted for Bill Clinton and Obama, in all 4 of their elections.
He is saying what people want to hear. Don’t sell him short.
Trump exposes the farce of the republican party.
He is neither a Christian conservative, nor a constitutional conservative.
He is a leftist liberal and would be better off running as a D.
This, coming from a state that ironically has as its motto, “Live free or die” while throwing in twice for Obama.
You got it.
A wild guess but that's probably why Bush is #1.
There ya go, and why Bush is #1.
It sure accounts for the democrat and Bill Clinton fan Donald Trump, doing so well.
Trump is also anti-gun, and pro-abortion.
I wonder which party Trump will vote for in 2016, since Bill Clinton is his favorite recent president.
You might not understand, but there is only one party D.C.
It’s why the entire country is in decline and has been for many years.
Well before the primaries in 2012 Herman Cain was doing well, Newt Gingrich was doing well, Michelle Bachmann was doing well. Come election time, not so much.
And Cruz was the upcoming latest GOP celebrity recently. Not so much now.
No wonder you support Trump, you think the democrat party is interchangeable with the republican party, and you have no interest in conservatism.
Bubububut he doesn’t have The Party elite’s permission! How can this be?
Got Resonance?
I wish you would quit saying that he is pro-abortion. There are enough FACTS you can lambaste him about - abortion isn’t one. When I was young I said fine, be pro-choice and may God have mercy on you but it’s not my right to tell you what to do.
Now I say No Abortion because that little one has just as much right to life as the mother. People can change.
From On the Issues:
I am now pro-life; after years of being pro-choice. (Apr 2011)
I changed my views to pro-life based on personal stories. (Apr 2011)
I am pro-life; fight ObamaCare abortion funding. (Feb 2011)
Pro-choice, but ban partial birth abortion. (Jul 2000)
Favors abortion rights but respects opposition. (Dec 1999)
Yes I do.
For the most part, the differences between the GOP and Democrats are inconsequential. I would guess it's hard not to see this and even more difficult not to admit it.
‘Key primary state’? ROTFLMAOPIMP!!!
