NASCAR is the latest corporation to distance itself from Donald Trump.
On the same day one of its top sponsors called on NASCAR to take a stance against Trump, the motorsports series said it will not hold its season-ending awards ceremony at the Trump National Doral Miami.
"We looked at everything we saw coming down and what we heard from our sponsors and our partners and what we feel we should be doing, and that's what led us to the decision today," NASCAR spokesman David Higdon said Friday at Daytona International Speedway.
Trump's spokesman, Hope Hicks, declined to comment to NBC News Friday..

The point I’m trying to make: From the point of official entry into the fray ... the world must disassociate from the candidate or anything they do/say would be considered and endorsement.
I’m not a NASCAR fan but know lots of people who are. I haven’t taken a poll but I’m reasonably certain that most agree with Trump...and are pretty p.o.ed about the Confederate flag kerfuffle.
I can only come to the conclusion that there are a bunch of people with not much to do who phone bomb sponsors about people that disagree with them. Heck, the cars are billboards on wheels.
Nope, there’s an article somewhere on here (too tired to look) about NASCAR asking it’s fans not to bring them to the races anymore.
Just for giggles, let’s see how that works out in Daytona this weekend.
Escrow is something else, I don't think it has to do with names. What is named after Romney? I can't think of anything named after him, but I don't know much about him. His company was Bain Capital, and he never had TV shows that I know of.
Maybe they could have AF-1 land at Daytona Sunday.
Obama could get to the booth and ask DW or whoever they have as to why there are no black people winning the race......

Wow! We are seeing various organizations popping up whose controlling forces are in bed with the Democrats. It would be nice if they suffered a financial backlash to their knee-jerk effort to cull favor with their favorite party.

Aren’t a lot of Democrats like Hilary Clinton on many corporate boards? Remember how Bill Ayres and Barack Obama were both on the same board in Chicago? Hmmm. We have to take a long look at this, it might be behind a lot of political correctness on the part of big corporations. The Democrats turn EVERYTHING to their political advantage.

I have worked for a big corporation and the stench of political correctness made me feel like I was in an Orwellian world. They made you watch computer run indoctrination sessions and tested you at the end. Your behavior and the perception of it was on the record. I heard from an insider that the CEOs hosted big fundraisers for Obama. There were other big corporate “friends” in attendance to bolster their support. They share the same political bathhouse.
