Bake the cake! Dammit.
BOHICA.
Literally.
My boys will not be Boy Scouts. Nor will my girls ever be Lesbian Scouts.
The only honorable thing for the BSA to do is disband.
Better that boys are redirected to wholesome church-based youth groups than let them mingle with perverts.
What will happen when the first boy scout is sexually assaulted by a known homosexual leader? Will the BSA be immune from prosecution because they decided their current standards for leadership won’t survive legal challenge? I don’t think so. Remember the Catholic Church’s trouble.
I think the BSA is going to have to fold its tent sooner or later. Be better to do it now and save a bunch of kids from assault.
“My boys will not be Boy Scouts. Nor will my girls ever be Lesbian Scouts.”
GOOD FOR YOU.
My prayers go with all parents who forbid their children from entering a sex oriented group.
B/S!
Someone please post a list of all the states that voted same sex marriage into law. Until the states do this, it's still ILLEGAL!!
It's not an enumerated power for the feds. They have no say in the matter per the U.S. Constitution!!
The Boy Sodomites of America are finished with my family. All gone! Same thing with their lesbian sisters . . .
BSA claims that its new policy protects churches, but all it does is just transfer the risk of lawsuit from the BSA to the church if it doesn’t allow a homoesexual to be a leader. The church will then get sued for discrimination.
Very short-sighted. The churches that didn’t already terminate their relationship with BSA are going to have to do it now.
Pretty sure it was 37 that didn't.
Texas didn't and that was all the much I need to know.. sorry. ;-)
We were lucky in that our son earned his Eagle Rank back in 2010. We did pull our daughter out of “Girl” scouts a long time ago. She agreed with our reasoning. After the scouts allowed gay boys, I figured the next step would be gay leaders. I resigned from my leadership position in our local troop and sent a letter to the BSA HQ with my reasons for resigning. Didn’t get an answer and didn’t expect to.
Traillife USA
“Let there be no doubt, the BSA will steadfastly defend the right of religious chartered organizations to select leaders whose beliefs are consistent with those of the religious organization.”
Yeah, right. How long before you break this promise too?
“and the right of religious chartered organizations to select their leaders is unwavering...”
Unwavering for how long?
Promise breakers think new promises mean something.
So you now ask the troop leader if he is a homosexual before you let your son join.
About six weeks. I think they made a deal with the LDS people to keep it in place that long.
