The only way Cruz has a chance to be part of this would be with Trump. Not a done deal by any measurement in my opinion.
A big part of the problem there is based on polls, his few supporters have bad mouthed Trump as a matter of routine. I don’t see how they walk all that back.
Whomever the candidates we must think ahead to the 2 or 3 supreme court appointees. Can you imagine who Hillary.would appoint?

How? Trump, if he continues to be on top, will pick either Fiorina or Rubio. Cruz is getting hurt the most with Trump’s rise. It is as if Trump took out winds from Cruz’s sail.

Cruz’s real debut will be in the debates. His numbers don’t mean anything at this time.

Fair enough. And I voted for Romney. I don’t care what people want to call me because of that. He wasn’t ideal to say the least, but how could anyone think we wouldn’t be doing better today if he had won. It was a vote against Obama, nothing more, nothing less.

While Romney was bad, I still think he would’ve been better than the Kenyan. Do you think Romney would be trashing Israel? Do you think Romney would be decimating our military? Do you think Romney would be embracing our enemies and terrorist nations? Do you think Romney would’ve forged a disastrous deal with Iran giving the them capabilities to produce nuclear weapons?
Yes, we are doing much worse under Obama than we would’ve done under Romney. At least with Romney we could’ve had a chance at turning things around. Romney was my last choice in 2012, but he was a better choice than the jug eared Kenyan.
Cruz is the only one who is going to support Trump on his Johnny one note. Fiorina or Rubio won’t, they are both squish. Cruz knows this and will probably be in close personal communication with Trump.
In the meantime, it is the shame of the rest of the GOP that they didn’t support what Trump is trumpeting about. That is what is helping propel Trump. An ill wind fills a vacuum better than no wind at all.
The thing that makes Trump important to me is more than ideology which in his case is question raising at times
It’s that he is destroying single handedly the power nationally of the GOPe this go around so far
And he has the cash and media popularity of ratings to do it
