What the country needs is for someone who can destroy the DC cartel. Anything else is gravy. But nothing can be done until they are destroyed. Trump can do that, and has given every indication that he intends to. The others either can't, or won't. So my follow up question to you is: do you want to support the one (and only) person who can remove the primary obstacle to conservatism, or do you want to just feel better about yourself?
