Apparently not. If they can’t be the first ones to actually name Islamic Terrorism what makes you think they can interpret anything correctly?
I also submit that any location GAO or the military leases is considered as government property if I am not mistaken.
“Why the information blackout?”
First, it was on a military installation, so to have a pretty effective blackout, the Military chain of command simply has to order the people there not to divulge any information to anyone.
Second, the facts may well conflict with the agenda that this administration wants to push. We have seen it over and over and over. If the facts are unfavorable to the administration, they hide the facts.
Honor him with a commendation medal.
He could have told his men to shut up and not admit anything. Thats what I would have done.
Have his men lie for him? Negative. He should take responsibility for his actions. I believe he is.
You have an opinion, like me. We differ.
I was just following orders would not be a defense for an immoral act.... The law and orders for not arming military personal is immoral because it leaves are troops defenseless. This was not the first attack on personal, our troops are under constant warning of attack and congress is working to repeal this law. I think a case can be made that it was immoral for this Lt. Commander to “just follow orders”.
The guy should be getting a medal and an accommodation. He saved lifes. The US government under Obama has become our enemy.
Weren’t we first told the militant islamic terrorist was shot by a Chattanooga police officer? How long have they known? They should give the Purple Heart to all the dead and wounded and The Navy Cross to those who defended themselves and fellow service personnel. Heroes who had the initiative and foresight to be able to respond to an armed attack on the US and US Military, that’s what they were there for.
I choose #2, aided and abetted by #1 (with orders from way, way above).
That was the initial report. Since then, there has been practically nothing on it.
I can't help but think that if the police were the ones who chased this guy down and shot him, they would be the first ones to be all over the TV screens taking credit for "stopping" a deadly terrorist. So would the mayor, crowing about how well his police department did in protecting the public. There is a lot of political hay to be made from this in the right circumstances.
Instead... *crickets*
You have an opinion, like me.
Except, mine is honorable. You'd know that, if you were ever in the military.
I was in the military (1968-1976). You’re a pompous you know what.
You know the world is insane when....
Keep looking up, He’s coming back real soon.
Old news and not true last I heard
And that’s where you learned that lying was the way to go?
Interesting. You’re a lying you know what.
I was in the military (1968-1976).
Says the admitted liar.
