Trump Twitter Rant: ‘Megyn Kelly Bombed Tonight,’ Retweets Post Referring To Her As ‘Bimbo’
CBS ^ | August 7, 2015

Posted on 08/07/2015 6:33:34 AM PDT by conservative98

Overnight on Twitter, Trump said that Kelly “bombed” as a moderator.

“Wow, @megynkelly really bombed tonight. People are going wild on twitter! Funny to watch,” Trump tweeted.

Trump added that Kelly, along with moderators Bret Baier and Chris Wallace, were not very professional.

“I really enjoyed the debate tonight even though the @FoxNews trio, especially @megynkelly, was not very good or professional!” he stated.

Trump even retweeted a post that referred to Kelly as a “bimbo.”

The billionaire also lashed out at Luntz after getting a poor review from a focus group following the debate. Trump referred to Luntz as a “low-class snob” and a “joke.”

On “CBS This Morning” Friday, Luntz said he saw “total destruction of a candidacy” in Trump’s debate performance.

Never mind, I assumed that you were discussing Megyn Kelly.

Colonel Flagg, as I just posted to ek_hornbeck, I was talking about Michelle Malkin, not Megyn Kelly. Post #20.

Missed that, with apologies. But the point still holds. This is about how Trump treats people.

We aren’t Apprentices. We the People are his BOSSES, if he wants to be my President.

I have to tell you CoA, I am sickened and saddened by some of the statements on this thread.

Donald Trump needed to answer for those comments about women, and I guarantee the Dems, and MSM were saving them for if he was/is nominated.

To see people who I consider decent Conservatives cheer Trump for calling Meagan a “Bimbo”, to themselves call her a “bitch”, to be ok with calling Malkin a “whore”, and I’m only at post 200. It makes me sad for the future, and for women.

I said this when Bill Maher called Palin a C-—, and when the little fag called the Miss CA candidate what he did.
Scum sucking pigs, all of them. If it’s said in front of me, they’d get punched in the mouth.

IIRC we were all pretty po’d at Hillary for calling all the women, accusing Bill of sexual misconduct, “Bimbos”.
When did it become ok?
Calling Sarah a C-—, is different than calling Malkin a “whore” in what way?

I’ll tell these people how to judge if a term is ok to use for a woman.
Before you type, ask yourself if you would want the term used to describe your mother, wife, girlfriend, sister, or daughter?
If the answer is no, then, man up, and don’t use it to describe any other woman.

As for Donald Trump, I was ok with his answer to the question last night. Now that he’s doubled down by using the term for Meagan, not so much. If I were her husband, Trump and I would be having a “discussion” today, and it wouldn’t be pleasant.

I agree wholeheartedly that women should be treated with respect, BUT:

1) In a world with ISIS torturing and beheading people, Iran hoping to gain the ability to vaporize "infidels", our nation's identity and solvency hanging by a thread, and innocent babies being callously killed and their body parts sold off to the highest bidder, is this nonsense really what we should be wasting our time discussing?

2) We have been lectured for years about "strong women", and how women can do anything that men can do and should not be treated differently. So, are women capable of being anything a man can be, up to and including a trained killer in the military, or are they delicate, fragile little flowers that must be shielded from even a mere insensitive remark lest they wilt in response? Which is it? I'm tired of (usually, but not always liberal) women trying to have it both ways - wanting to be considered no different than a man, yet trying to use their femininity as a shield to deflect criticism or harshness when it suits them.

Trump even retweeted a post that referred to Kelly as a “bimbo.”

Does that mean he's going to marry her or just put her on one of his shows?

I think that FOX played it pretty well.

Hogwash.

Kelly was a de facto participant along with the rest of the MSM who should never have been given a role as fair and legitimate moderators.

And the Luntz group? That was stage group of card carrying GOP party groupies.

Certainly not a group of random Americans. This was a total biased fraud from the moderators to the staged focus group afterwards.

This simply confirms why I do not get my news from Fox, CNN or from any of the MSM TV network crowd.

You want butt kissers.

Using neutral non-MSM moderators to ask questions sent in by the MSM and others, would be kissing butt ?

Brilliant comment slick.☺

Yep, and I never said a word about that.

Meagan Kelly may be a liberal. She may be a GOPe operative. She may be an idiot. She may be reprehensible on every level.

But read my last paragraph. Any of the things mentioned above said about my mother, wife, etc. No problem everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Call one of those women in my life a bimbo, and be within reach, and find out what happens.

I don’t care if women want to be strong, want to scrap with the boys, want to be equal to men, that doesn’t diminish my DUTY as a gentleman to defend a woman’s honor if it’s besmirched.

I understand perfectly why some “think” it’s ok to go down this road, but I for one won’t tolerate it.

I thought we were better people than the garbage over at DU.

Completely agree with you.

He must be vetted. And quite frankly, I’m sick of the candidates tiptoeing around him like he’s some sort of king.

I agree with you in our personal lives, but that was not the issue here. Megyn Kelly wasted time that could have been devoted to discussing crucial, world shaking issues to instead engage Trump in an argument over the equivalent of high school girl name-calling. That was just idiotic.

The format was flawed from the beginning.

I don't think anyone could have answered in depth or prudently with only a one minute response.

You are correct none of the channels will be fair and all of them make a mockery out of the whole process.

I would to see a flat out no holds bar legitimate debate, not this question and answer format that really is no debate.

The main point of a real debate is to see who knows their facts and who can think on their feet in a free wheeling environment. That was not the case last night.

Yep. I though it was particularly odd how the moderators had prepared questions that were specific to individual candidates. They might as well have just saved everyone time and answered their own questions since the questions were so loaded they were more like statements.

I’m not a Megyn Kelly fan, and I think it was pretty sickening of her to try and play the victim after the debate by saying Trump went after her because she was a woman. That’s exactly the kind of thing a liberal chick would pull.

That said, Trump is coarse—and that’s putting it very mildly. People have got to ask themselves if this is what they want in the White House.

From what I’ve seen of his current Twitter explosion, he’s a thin-skinned narcissist who is unable to take criticism, and who melts down when confronted with it. He’s blundering all over the place, yelling insults.

I don’t think he has a lot of respect for women in general, no. I recently read an old New Yorker mag interview of Trump. The reporter who interviewed him did a 2011 follow-up, and he described a conversation in which Trump asked him, “Know what I consider the perfect company?”

The answer? “A total piece of a##.”

Ted Cruz is head and shoulders-—or maybe miles-—above that kind of thing.

Well, sport, if you paid attention to the real
opposition you would know that FOX is not very
well thought of by the “rest” of the MSMTARDs
because many of the FOX crew spend much of their
air time hammering liberals and their foibles.
For the record it was announced that some questions
were extracted from twitter space.

And, you think who is asking the questions
is any more important than the questions,
themselves? Does it at all occur to you that
questions submitted by non FOX members of the
MSM and read by non MSM mods just might include:

* What can we do to halt man caused global warming?

* How can we protect Planned Parenthood?

* What are you going to do to save our voting rights?

Brilliant idea......slick.
