Buzzfeed accuses Breitbart of selling favorable coverage to Trump
American Thinker ^ | 08/10/2015 | Thomas Lifson

Relying on unnamed sources, Buzzfeed goes nuclear against Breitbart, accusing the site of taking Trump money in return for favorable coverage. There is no more serious accusation that can be made against a publication than selling favorable coverage, so reliance on unnamed sources is a bit like claiming child sex abuse and then refusing to reveal the evidence.

Trump doesn’t pay for coverage - he gets it free.

If memory serves this is the same guy who said Trump would never run. Or if he ran then he’d never file his financial disclosure forms. Of if he filed them then he’d never make them public. I think his credibility has worn a bit thin.

If anything the onslaught against Trump is eye opening as to who has an agenda in the political arena.

Get the big poll numbers when you aren’t their choice and you receive negative press.

Exactly...give him credit...he really knows how to work the system. Funniest thing about this is this buzzfeed or whatever are falling into his trap by giving him press.

The funny thing is the more they attack him, the less I listen to them.

I’m not even a supporter necessarily. But he makes a good litmus test. If they attack him ad hominem without responding to the case he is making, they drop a notch. Fox? They embarrassed themselves during the debate, not just Kelly, the whole lot of them.

Most of the questions were shallow and juvenile; thankfully the candidates mostly avoided taking the bait and most of them acquitted themselves pretty well. But the “moderators” kept trying to play gotcha instead of actually moderating and actual discussion of issues, they did everything they could to keep the candidates talking about each other or defending themselves rather than talking about Obama or the sorry state of the union.

I think Obama might have the Trump envy. "I used to get 24/7 nonstop news coverage. Every news story is about me, everybody worships me."

I listened to the debate a second time. Trump actually did pretty well as did the others. Its the moderators that were embarrassing.

Trump’s comment on Kelly after the debate was in no way offensive; you’d have to be really looking for something to turn this into an issue. And of course they are, they are trying to turn this into the Howard Dean Scream that purportedly knocked him out of the race.

The Howard Dean Scream was entirely a media creation. “They” had decided to replace him with Kerry, and needed a pretext. So they took one exuberant shout and turned it into that pretext, and tellingly, the entire press corps fell into line and repeated the same story endlessly while Kerry was pushed to the front. This was as obviously fake as anything I’ve ever seen, but no one questioned it.

Thats what they are trying to do to Trump. They want him out, they don’t want to talk about his issues or, as I say, the sorry state of the union, and they want him gone. The others they can give the silent treatment, but Trump is too loud to simply shut out so they need to make him gone.

If it is false, Trump should sue. If it’s true, Trump won’t sue.
