He hasn’t been a liberal all his life - that isn’t true at all. And, I do support Cruz - either one is fine with me. Some on here want to knock Trump in hopes that those of us who mildly or do support him, will see the error of our ways and vote for their candidate. That doesn’t work with me. I’d be quite okay with Cruz as president too.

If you say Fiorina, McC, and Lamar! are no good, you must be right.

“A serious politician can’t. That’s not how the game is played, FRiend. Red meat works for leading rats to water, but doesn’t win national elections.”

Where were you during and after the last two elections, the moon? All the things you say can’t work did and very well for Obama. We knew absolutely nothing about the man and he won; twice. At least we don’t have any illusions about Donald Trump. He’s an open book, warts and all. Therein lies his appeal to the American people who have been duped for so long.

Yes, Donald Trump knows how the game is played, from both sides and down the middle and has used it to his advantage. That’s why politicians on both sides are scared witless of him. Trump has never tried to make anyone think that he’s an ultra-conservative Bible-thumping Christian. In other words, he’s not a liar as we’ve become so accustomed to in our politics. He isn’t a “serious politician?” Well, personally, I’ve had my stomach full of those. I’ve seen enough of them to know just what being a “serious politician” really means and I’m ready for something completely different.

Thanks for the honesty. Trump is our Obama and at least you know you’re being played.

Agreed. HP made superior hardware until Carly took the reins. She’s a lot of fluff. As a female Republican voter, I’m not excited about her as a candidate although she’d make a good party spokesperson.

*Ping* You asked on another thread why my HP alum father had such strong dislike for Carly Fiorina. The above description of her tenure there is the best summary I’ve seen.

I continually make the mistake of telling the truth to the hopelessly entrenched. It never provides anything except some convoluted reason that anyone who disagrees is stupid. That’s a Liberal trait, not a Conservative one.

Trump is at the top of the heap at present. His supporters have other reasons besides thinking he’s conservative. Your segment’s very insistence on purity is the specific reason that we do have Obama and will most likely have a Socialist President very soon.

The Republican candidates have a number of liberals, but right now, especially with Trump, they are diluting each other, which is a good thing. Trump is forcing them to say where they stand on policy issues, which they *don’t* want to do.

And all of this is working in the favor of the conservatives.

Of course, the big spoiled oyster is Jeb Bush, but if he keeps being such a hoser, the establishment and liberal Republicans are going to feel forced to endorse one of the other liberals, resulting in a liberal bloodbath.

A lot of the candidates were actually running for cabinet seats, hoping to get enough backers to trade their votes for a Bush appointment. But if things keep on going this way, a lot of them are going to be in the unemployment line.

Because if a conservative wins, they are not going to get squat.

She’s not my first choice. In fact, she’s pretty far down on my list. If you (the author, not the poster) are going to attack her, please stick to more relevant issues than whether the name of a company she once worked for could be connected to a name used for the devil. Puh-leaze! I doubt she picked the name. I doubt the person (or committee) who picked it decided “hey, let’s name our company after satan, but in a cryptic way so we can serve him without anyone knowing about it.

I also like the way she shredded Hitlery. I don’t want Fiorina to get the nomination, but I do think she could be useful as an attack dog (not meant disrespectfully). If the true conservative candidates really care about America, they will each do the best they can to stop the liberal agenda and support a strong, conservative nominee, whoever that is. (Not Bush.)

Business Week reported that she even hung her portrait in the lobby of HP.

How awful. Of course this disqualifies her. /sarc/

She's not my candidate, but this article has the credibility of a glass of piss.

No more or less than Donald Trump

Exactly. The first sentence of this piece renders it a joke.

Fiorina is no conservative. But neither is lifelong liberal Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has by far the most Liberal record of all the GOP candidates.

Yes he does. But he's good at fooling the masses so he leads in the polls. That seems to be all it takes to win over this crowd.

When considering Jebra and Carlhe, I don’t think of her has a stalking horse for Jebra. I think of her as Jebra’s equal.

I don’t think the GOPe cares which one, just so long as it is one of them.

Thanks for the link. That was a pretty good run-down on her.

The article seems to have swatted the bushes, because little creatures are scurrying every which direction because of it.

It’s truly amazing watching people display their thought processes sometimes.

This article causes some folks to hate Trump even more, and others to think that, “Yep, Carlhe’s my girl.”

Simply amazing.

Sigh, another disappointment. Certainly agree with the words she speaks while listening to her. Believed her to be in the same category of conservative thinkers. Finding far too many strikes against her, will not waste the time in thinking what might have been. Interesting read and most enlightening. Thanks for taking the time to post.

Very ironic that the author seems to support Trump for prez but it very “concerned” about Carly’s past dalliances with liberalism. Hmmm....

Indeed. Anyone low on her her and high on Trump is failing to be logically consistent.

Trump said he loved Canada’s healthcare system and thought we should do the same. How is it you think if Trump wins you won’t have a socialist president?

I don’t believe Trump has any core guiding principles short of selling himself. That’s why one year Canada is an example of what we need to do and a year or two later he wants the “free market” to run our healthcare.

He can’t have it both ways no matter how hard he tries.

He could have just as easily run as a Democrat and he’d be saying all the right things for that run...

I’ll add one more thing.

I think Trump ran as a Republican because he figured after 8 years of Obama a Democrat couldn’t win the White House again this go around.

So he made his bet and is playing the part.

That’s my 2 cents...

I agree Fiorina is not for us

But Ted Cruz also calls for H1-B expansion

A death knell for our nation.....far worse than the illegals issue

I hope Trump listens to Sessions this weekend.....Jeff and Levin are out front on too much legal immigration

I think Ted is listening to Goldie Sachs wifey on this

Pity......coulda been real 100%

only issue I have with CRUZ but it’s big
