REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES NEED A BETTER MESSAGE THAN TRUMP'S AND THEY BETTER FIND IT OR ELSE.......

What is Donald Trump?

Is he serious or is he some sort of show? Is he some asymmetrical weapon sent in by the Clinton's to disrupt the Republican Party?

He is certainly doing a good deed by tearing down the Republican Establishment and its anointed candidate, Jeb Bush.

His strong push on Amnesty has drawn fire from the GOPe and its affiliated media who have reacted to the backlash by sometimes backing off or in one case even joining him like Ann Coulter (a spy sent in by the GOPe???).

Trump has sucked away the attention and opinion poll ratings of all the other candidates and now that he's asking for campaign contributions, the money may be sucked away from the other candidates as well.

I support Ted Cruz but I admit his message can't match Trump's.

When I listen to Trump hearken to America's tradition of economic greatness and famous military leaders of the past like Patton and MacArthur I am reminded of the words of a British political leader who spoke in our country earlier this year.

United Kingdom Independence Party leader Nigel Farage told a sparse audience at the CPAC gathering that Republicans had better not 'forget the Reagan Democrats'.

I sense that Trump is resonating with folks like that folks like my father, who fits the "Reagan Democrat" description.

They remember a time when there were full time jobs in America that paid good wages and came with medical benefits.

Now they see a flood of lower paying part time jobs for their children and grandchildren. They see Obamacare driving up healthcare costs for the employed, so insurance companies and hospital groups can rake in money.

The under 30 hour jobs and the Cadillac Health Plan tax in Obamacare were designed to help big business cut and contain their health insurance costs just like a socialist single payer system would, but retaining the private health insurance concept.

"Barack Obama sold out working people in America"-who will step up to the plate to speak that truth.

The biggest offense to the Reagan Democrats is the flood of illegal immigrants and plans to legalize them with Amnesty. They are disgusted by the cheapening of the labor market hurting their children and grandchildren's future.

Over in the UK United Kingdom Independence Party leader Nigel Farage describes his country's political system as "corporatism", a collaboration of big banks, big business and big government against small business and individuals.

I support Ted Cruz but Ted had better wake up and start talking like I just did in this post or else he will be left behind as the Trump Tsunami engulfs him.

Cruz is a very good lawyer. He talks and acts like a very good lawyer. He is not a strong leader like Trump. Walker is a weasel, he is the GOPe backup plan.

I don’t like Trump.

But I like the GOPe and all other libs less.

RINOs EARNED Trump. May he (or Cruz) kick their sorry asses to the curb forever.

Ted’s poll numbers are really not moving much at all. That is what is concerning to me.

The RNC crowded the field to drown out his message and divide the electorate to make a clear path for Jebbie. Huckabee takes the Christian conservatives, Santorum takes a chunk of the social conservatives, Marco Rubio takes those who ant a young face...etc.etc, creating enough division among conservatives that there's no real opposition to Bush. Worked like a charm in 2008 and 2012. Trump just destroyed their game plan and now the primary is set up as Trump against everyone else and the only coverage anyone else gets is when they mention Trump.

I think things will tighten up a bit here real soon as some of the field drops out and we see where that support goes. Still five month to Iowa and NH.

No. He is risk averse in campaigning (but not in governing). He has made too many of the wrong enemies in Wisconsin to be the GOPe backup plan. They'd take him over Trump or Cruz, but not over John Ellis Bush, John Kasich, Marco Rubio or even Carly Fiorina. He is more likely their backup backup backup backup backup plan.

Corporatism is code for fascist.

BUMP for TRUMP, Carson for VP, Cruz is falling almost as fast as Bush-O-rino

The GOP would become the Whigs.

The only thing saving the GOP is the conservative base, even if they won't acknowledge it.

The problem with conservatives is that they just will not leave the Grand Old Party -- they suffer from Battered Conservatives Syndrome.

The GOPElites know this. Who else besides the GOPElite selectee are they going to vote for? Sanders? Clinton? Okay, so what if the GOP loses. The GOPElites still get their turn at the DC money troughs.

Watch and see how Trump will channel his Trumpees and his support to Sen. Cruz as the campaign starts with primaries next year.

Thank you.

We must remember that what happens now means very little to what the real results will be after the caucuses and primaries begin.

“That’s why I would be more than happy to see Trump run third-party. It would drive the final nail into the coffin of this useless and corrupt GOP.

Jeb Bush would finish 20 pts. behind in third. The GOP would become the Whigs.”

A Trump landslide is the likely destroyer of the RINO/socialist republicans in the Party a far better outcome then giving the win to democrats

“Ted’s poll numbers are really not moving much at all.”

If Cruz was just a lawyer from Texas he could be leading in the polls. Look how well Carson is doing.

Cruz is damaged because he is in congress.

Trump might still pick him as VP.

I don’t will matter one damn bit WHAT his plan is on taxes, war on terror or immigration except in very broad terms.

People want TRUMP they want the DC insiders OUT because we, all of us are f’n FED UP!! Trump can continue with his main theme of “ make America great again” and attack PC (especially in the lib media) while never having to give specifics on any of his policy statemnts and ride that all the way to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

That cockeyed reasoning got us 8 years of Obama. I’ve never understood the concept of winning by losing.

I am still not yet ready to close the door for a third Bush, so admired by so many in the GOPe for so long.

Bush III would be more of the same and exactly what the corporate elites want.

I hope Jeb is out of the picture but we all know the GOPe won’t give up without a bloody nasty fight.

One of the reasons they designed this race to start early was to weed out the non anointed candidates who threaten them like Trump early on, dispatch them all with dirty politics early so we will all forget later next year.

I'm not sure about that. If Trump ran I think he could win.

I'd like to think so, but the evidence is mounting that Romney was absolutely spot-on correct with that "47%" comment.

Cruz brings nothing to the ticket as VP. Trump will pick someone acceptable to both him and the establishment, not Bush but maybe John Kasich from the battleground state of Ohio? Or maybe Rubio from the battleground state of Fla? Or maybe Carly if the Rats have a women on the ticket. No way he would pick Cruz from the reliable state of Texas. I’d love to see President Trump appoint Cruz to the supreme court. Cruz as VP would be a waste, VP is mostly a ceremonial position.
