I understand where the dad is coming from & we’ve had several shootings/stabbing in Va. by those that are mentally ill as this guy no doubt was. As usual, the Left’s solution to a minority of mentally ill people getting guns will be to take them away from the majority. This poor dad, with all his good intentions and intense grief, will be a perfect patsy for the Leftists, Bloomberg, etc. It’s sickening - what happened yesterday in particular, why this guy fell through the cracks, and how it will be exploited by the Leftist gun grabbers.
The simple fact is that an ambush with any kind of a weapon is very hard to defend against in the initial stage. Guess what, that is why it is a popular military and nut job tactic.

I have been involved in event management. Security, armed, is essential. I cannot fathom a remote live event by a regional tv station being conducted without a security contingent. Get real, people.
