(Largo, FL) With the exposure of Planned Parenthood’s activities in procuring aborted babies for scientists, the media is buying into the lie that this is “life-saving” research. In a recent article picked up by the AP and published in US News, the hysterics were evidenced by the headlines “Amid uproar over anti-abortion videos scientists say fetal tissue essential for research”. The article starts out sounding like talking points for Planned Parenthood’s Cecile Richards by quoting from Stanford University spokesperson Lisa Lapin: “If researchers are unable to work with fetal tissue, there is a huge list of diseases for which researchers would move much more slowly, rather than quickly, to find their cause and how they can be cured.”
Not only has there never been a cure for any disease whatsoever using aborted fetal material, the very next sentence demonstrates what’s really behind their motives. From 2011 through 2014 alone, 97 research institutions – mostly universities and hospitals – received a total of $280 million in federal grants for fetal tissue research from the National Institutes of Health. Cha-ching! Looks like government defunding of Planned Parenthood is only the tip of the iceberg isn’t it? Next the article notes that vaccines for hepatitis A, German measles, chickenpox and rabies were developed using cell lines grown from tissue from elective abortions.
“What they fail to admit is that with the exception of chickenpox there are moral alternatives for every one of those vaccines using animal cell lines,” stated Debi Vinnedge, Children of God for Life’s Executive Director. “There are 47 vaccines licensed in the US, 8 of which use aborted fetal cell lines yet only 3 of them have no moral option...

I've been wondering if the Lord is exposing this horrible infanticide to test the soul of this nation. Most of what I read and see are excuses for this barbarism for the sake of 'science'(with the exception of FR). God's justice will not remain silent for those who choose to do evil and reject repentance.

Vaccines have been around for a long time, I think it's stupid to condemn them all in a lump sum because of some present day rumors or supposition.

Firstly, you posted a series of words that was mocking to the idea that killing unborn of research and production of some vaccines or other medicines/products is wrong/evil. Mocking by giving the impression that we’ll just do without medications and embrace disease without using destroyed unborn in research.
Secondly, as offensive as the above idea is, one would hope that it was sarcastic in nature. No sarc tag was given, nor was any indication given by you that sarcasm was intended. This leads one to believe you were speaking as you truly feel.
That led to my first post to you, leading to now.

The vast majority of all I have seen or read from you, including all your blog-police items, I agree with. Your initial post on this thread was morally indefensible. I still hope there was a sarc or satire element to what you had to say. Lacking that, you are on amoral shifting sand. There is NO defensible position for abortion, much less carving up the remains and selling it for research.

While vaccines were initially developed without aborted fetal tissue, nowadays, it seems the big business side of abortion is using these tissues for all kinds of research. I will not knowingly have any part of it. If that meant a disease I had could not be cured, then so be it, my time here is limited anyway.
Your initial reply buys into their justification - If we don’t have these dead baby parts we can’t make these medicines. And that is evil and incorrect. But your reply says that unless they are allowed to do that - enjoy your polio.

If folks want to add vaccinations into the abortion argument,
then I figure they need to consider the many decades of vaccine
work that was done before we got reports about planned parenthood
