TRUMP RUNS 'THE GAUNTLET' WHILE JOSEPH GOEBBELS SMILES FROM HELL
9/17/2015 | Self

Posted on 09/17/2015 4:50:57 AM PDT by Nextrush

As El Rushbo put it yesterday 'all guns' were 'trained on Trump' last night from the media onslaught to the candidates blasting him on the stage.

It was reminiscent of Clint Eastwood in "The Gauntlet" driving the bus through a torrent of bullets and emerging bloodied but still the hero and the winner.

The media in its virtual entirety had an agenda driven by its talking points before and after the debate, talking points coming obviously from one source, the Republican Establishment.

The spin was all about Carly Fiorina and how good she was going into the debate and how good she was in the debate, Carly could do no wrong.

And it wasn't just 'the liberal media' doing the talking points, it was the media we always thought were 'conservative' and on our side.

Rush Limbaugh always used to tell us about the Democrats and their talking points.

Turns out we now know the Republicans play the same game.

Back in 1930's Germany the infamous Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels would have the Berlin newspaper editors and reporters from all the newspapers around Germany into the "Propaganda Ministry" to tell them what to report in their newspapers, creating a consistent and distorted message for millions of Germans.

Well here we are in 21st Century America and the Republican Party plays the same game.

In 1945, reporters goaded General George S. Patton into making a statement that created a firestorm and disciplinary action from General Eisenhower. Patton said that the Nazis were the same as "Democrats and Republicans". I guess Patton, who has been praised by Donald Trump, was onto something.

Alesksandr Solzhenitsyn warned Americans when he spoke to us about the dangers facing the West in the 1970's that while we thought we had a free media with many outlets the truth was there wasn't much difference between the way the Western media operated and the way media in the Soviet Union he came from operated. All the different media outlets said the same thing.

It looks like America needs some new media that doesn't replicate the distortions of the mainstream media for liberals and Democrats and the RINOstream media for the Republicans.

In the case of Donald Trump, its in the interests of all the various media outlets and the major political parties they serve to spread the Republican Establishment talking points about the 'great Carly Fiorina' to take Trump down.

At other times though, the RINOstream media from Fox News to talk show hosts to websites, posters on FR etc. etc. feed patriots a steady diet of deceit, exploiting our resentments and anger, making us think if we vote Republican we are making a better choice that involves a change in direction.

This is all dished up from the Republican Party Establishment and dumped on us to lap it up like dogs.

The same show plays out for voters on the Left in the MSM leading them to Democrats as the better choice.

But in the end both parties lead us down a pathway punctuated by more and more government spending and an ever increasing tax burden and debt burden on future generations.

The banking and business elites have bought both parties-the Uniparty and get what they want from cheap labor flow into the country, Obamacare to cut the employer side of healthcare costs, Common Core to train children for a world economic system without borders being enabled by special trade deals and the list goes on.

Needless to say, I'm not a "Fox Sucker" anymore. We need to find new media and new voices other than the ones deceiving us.

-"The spin was all about Carly Fiorina and how good she was going into the debate and how good she was in the debate, Carly could do no wrong."

The only reason they are propping this woman up is because they know she is a 'lightweight', she has no 'following', she is not a 'true believer' like Sarah Palin!

They are propping her up because they know she doesn't have the staying power that Sarah Palin would have had.

That’s a pretty fair analysis.

“Patton and MacArthur in an earlier era would have rolled over the entire region from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan and gotten to the source of the terrorism if this had happened in 1941.”

Your statement above is so very true! And I know for sure the present “rules of engagement” would not have lasted 2 seconds in their day! They went to war to win!!

I believe Commander In Chief Trump will bring those into his team to take care of our National Security and the Patton and MacArthur mindset will prevail. Peace through strength!

Poor thing looks like she was botoxed to within an inch of her life.

Actually, the ‘poor thing’ was breast cancered to within an inch of her life...

but do carry on with the gratuitous insults, if it makes you feel more conservative...

“Trump hammered the 14th Amendment question and surprised everyone. He is right.”

When Rand Paul agreed Trump was right I laughed myself silly. Trump IS right on the 14th Amendment but I am sure it pained Paul to say that since he was going to give trum “both barrels” lololololol!

I don’t think breast cancer causes you to look like a sourpuss. It didn’t for my mother who just completed her chemo.

The way you come across to the public is important. And while I was VERY open to hearing what she had to say her persona totally turned me off.

Sell your ad homs at the liberal site that I refuse to identify by name.

Carly knows which side her bread is buttered on - as a mouthpiece for the GOPe line.

All of the “news” sources are pushing the meme that Fiorina, Rubio, and Christie looked good, Bush wasn’t bad but Trump is hosed.

They can’t stop trying; pushing the propaganda against Trump and ignoring once again Cruz.

The gaggle of wannabe’s, neverwillbe’s needs to be culled pretty soon. Try as they might, they continue to see that most of their field are already toast and are hindering the process of getting down to two or three viable candidates.

Right now, Trump and Cruz are those viable candidates and the rest are GOPe tools.

The media is trying to slant things and Trump continues to lead in the polls.

Polls and debates can be rigged. Look at the crowds people draw and you can see who’s really the most liked.

Agree. Celebrity or not, it’s a clearer indicator of real interest, not some “ invited “ participants who may have been vetted before they entered the hall

Nice summary, and a good take at the real strategy that is underway.

To me, Jeb is toast, and Donald was doing a mini audition of who would be on the undercard.

Seems to me he likes Cruz and his standup character, and doesn’t discount the others Carson, Rubio as potential running mates.

For football fans

Chiristie is his fullback, opening up up the holes when the opposing D comes with the blitz. He’ll fake a missed block by taking Donald on indirectly so not to make it so obvious that’s his role. e.g. We don’t need to talk about you two Donald & Carly

We all knew yesterday this was the stop Trump debate and that Fox would double down on their hatred for him. No surprise there.

No, no surprise but what is interesting is their shift in tactics and in the grouping of “candidates” they favor. It reveals a lot about their mindset and future jockeying for position.

Gore looked like an a****le, and Bush drove that home by throwing that stare and nod back at Gore.

Oh boy, that brought memories back. Heh, okay, I retract my statement.

We don’t need anyone that is for building coalitions now. We need a guy like Trump who we can follow while he is kicking you know what. Churchill was a man of his times as was Ronald Reagan. It’s like a job interview. It’s important; but their work history matters more. Besides insulting Barbara Boxers hair when running against in much the same way Carly says Trump did to her; she worked as an economic political advisor to John McCain 2012 election bid. Said Sarah Palin was not qualified to run a business; than said McCain, Biden and Obama weren’t either. (I can understand those three). She was shoved to the side after that remark. It has also been said she is a shill for Jeb Bush. I just won’t vote for her because I think she is establishment Republican.

Carson didn’t sound “Presidential” compared to the others.

Rubs and FiFi did pretty well.

Trump just did not say it forcefully enough, the simple truth is that the fourteenth does NOT say that anyone born on American soil is a citizen of any kind, let alone a natural born citizen who can run for president. Some Republicans may hate me for this but I don’t think either Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio qualifies to run for president but it won’t matter, Obama clearly does not qualify according to his own current versions of his origins or the born in Kenya story that he told when he benefitted by it and the overwhelming majority of Americans are incapable of understanding the concept of natural born citizen as the founders used it. Many of them think that a citizen is a citizen is a citizen and all are qualified to run. Many think that congress can just issue a finding as to what the meaning of the term is, ignoring the fact that that means that nothing in the constitution would have any fixed meaning whatsoever but why am I complaining, that appears to be the situation now anyway with court rulings claiming that two people of the same sex have the right to get married. They may as well say that two dogs and a rooster have the right to get married if they so desire.

Connect the dots...I’m not a big fan of Dwight Eisenhower, but at least he did warn about a ‘military industrial complex’ in his farewell speech as POTUS.

I sort of think Ike was warning us about the elite banking-business forces that used him as their prop to stop conservatives in the GOP in the 1950’s.

They would use others later on and now they have their current ‘man of the hour’ Jeb Bush and his ‘supporting cast’ including Carly Fiorina.

Agree! I do not trust Carly and I believe most conservative women do not either.

Can't understand why men would like her either....just cold and calculating “persona”.

Personally, I think Secretariat is prettier.....and Carly needs to smile more, but then it would probably be fake smiles like Hitlery gives us! No I did not misspell her name. Gee, am I getting mean in my old age????
