Strapped to wooden chairs and burnt alive: Two men are fatally punished by furious Mexican villagers after alleged car theft

Angry villagers beat and then burnt two men to death on the streets of Mexico after accusing them of trying to steal a car.

The men were grabbed by the 200-strong mob in the town of San Juan Chamula on Monday, according to a civil defense official, and strapped to wooden chairs before they were lynched.

The official, who was not authorized to be quoted by name, said the men had been turned over to police in the southern state of Chiapas after an alleged car theft.

OK already?

The article states: “and strapped to wooden chairs before they were lynched.”

Well? Were they strapped to chairs and then lynched or were they strapped to chairs, burned alive and then lynched? I’m confused!!!!!!!!!

How do you lynch someone who is toast?

It's part of what Carroll Quigley described as The Pakistani-Peruvian Axis.

Article contradicts itself. They were both burned alive and lynched.

Well then they have a case. Remind of the new Family Feud where the team of 5 wins one car.
Wonder how that works with in laws and cousins constituting the 5 contestants.

Car theft = death. Yeah, let’s bring more Mexicans and these “values” Jeb and Marco applaud, into our nation.

“Probably wasn’t a sanctuary city.”

Sounds like a hispanic Sharia. Our only saving grace here
is the hispandecos fear of martyrdom. They are already an
unassimilating primitive culture with an IQ to match.

That happened in Liberty, mo. In the 80s IIRC. There was a book written about which is a fascinating read.

Nobody in that town has ever said who did it but apparently everyone knows who the two men were who poured rifle fire into the guys truck.
The guy killed was a real bad man with a great lawyer.

I agree. I think it’s good to be aware of what goes on in the world.

Maybe the Pope ought to be preaching to Mexican peasants rather than our Congress.

I haven’t watched Family Feud since the Richard Dawson days. They only awarded cash money not other prizes. Are they giving out cars now?

It was someplace in Missouri but I don’t think it was Liberty. It was a fascinating story. The guy and his white trash family had terrorized the town to the point where nobody would testify against him. He even threatened the local lawmen and politicians. Eventually, it caught up with him one morning when he and his wife were parked outside a mainstreet cafe and a couple of Regulators blew his brains out.

Nobody saw nuthin’.

I cheered when I read that.

I just looked it up. The guy’s name was Ken McElroy and the town was Skidmore, MO.

I remember that story.

When they killed him the crime rate dropped in that county.

He brazenly stole stuff from people’s front yards in broad daylight and dared anyone to stop him.

They were lynched by being burned to death. Lynching does not necessarily mean hanging, though hanging is a common method.
