Zombies prefer dark meat?
Thar was the first thing I pointed out to Mrs. Dawgg. I to;d her if I was in that neighborhood I would wait until Travis got eaten and take that sweet ride for myself.
I agree. Also, the pimply high school kid who seemed to be the only other one in the entire series who had clue as to seriousness of what was coming down.
I love Walking Dead I didn’t 1st couple but once you get into it, the character development is great and the show becomes addictive. I fast-forward through most of the zombie munchie stuff though, that part’s overdone.
All that said, I can’t get into Fear of the Walking Dead, a prequel.
It shows people coming out of their normalcy bias and the one that are coming out of their normalcy bias first are the one that don’t live normal lives.
Bullied kid that brings knife to school saw what was coming first.
Drug addict.
Drug addicts mother.
Barber that lived through violence had no normalcy bias and did what had to be done.
I’ve been through several hurricanes and people coming out of their normalcy bias and accepting responsibility is pretty spot on.
That’s exactly why I watch the show ie survival and survival choices. FTWD is not as good (yet) as TWD. IMO.
Thanks
Warren Beatty? No thanks...
I initially thought The Walking dead was a really good series. then it just turned into recycled stories after the first 1 1/2 seasons and I lost interest. People are rabid about it though and I've had a few tell me it is a way for them to visualize a catastrophic collapse and learn how to deal with it.
Now, I think we all know that this isn't much of a realistic learning tool for survival, but I guess a lot of people don't get that. the point is that I think a lot of people are secretly interested in surviving a catastrophe plagued with occupying enemies.
At any rate, it doesn't do it for me like Breaking Bad did. I can get hooked on a show, but it's rare. BB kept me itching every week because just when you thought things couldn't possibly get worse, they did and the script was fresh every week. the zombie thing ran it's course for me after 1 season
Ugh. I tried to watch Z nation. Couldnt get through the first episode.
Thanks....I’ll keep what I have DVR’d for a boring day and see how it shakes out I guess.
I've been re-watching Season 5 now that it is On-Demand and the character of Martin "I used to go to church. I used to watch football on Sundays" made some good points. In his conversation with Tyreese, "You won't make it. You're the kind of guy who saves babies." and "all the good people are dead" he informs us that the world was once wolves and sheep. All the sheep are gone. Only wolves remain.
If you think about the character of Rick Grimes, his only goal is to keep his children alive. Nothing else matters. If your children have to starve so mine can eat, if your children have to die so mine can live, that's just too bad. Of course, every other person you run across will have the same goal. That's the world they live in now.
That swing around the pole do fast his(?) arm comes off. I am not willing to watch that scene again to verify gender.
Znation is good though. They shouldn’t have gone the wd route of knocking off an established character. That is one thing I dislike about twd. Too many established characters being slaughtered.
the other thing that is bothering me is that there are too many holes in the plot.
How did the black boyfriend and the principle get bitten? And why didn’t the black boyfriend not talk about it with they came to visit him? DUDE! some crazy dude attacked me for no reason and BIT me! I barely got away! ect.
And how did the principle turn so quickly? why was he not eaten whole?
too many gaps.
Well, there’s Diane whatshername (Keaton) in it, too! Sure I can’t change your mind? :0) A big box office 3+ hour disasters of all disasters. Word is Beatty wouldn’t even take questions about it for 5 years afterward.
Yep, good posit.
A husband had just finished reading a new book entitled, “You Can Be THE Man of Your House”.
Finding new courage that he never knew he had, he stormed into the kitchen and announced to his wife, “From now on, you need to know that I am the man of this house and my word is the ‘Law.’ You will prepare me a gourmet meal tonight, bring it to me, and when I am done eating my meal, you will clear the dishes and serve me a scrumptious dessert. After dinner, you are going to go upstairs with me and we will make love the way I want! Afterwards, you are going to draw me a bath so I can relax. You will put on soothing music, wash my back and towel me dry and bring me my robe. You will massage my feet and hands to relieve any last bit of tension so that I can sleep like a baby. Then tomorrow, guess who’s going to dress me and comb my hair?”
The wife replied, “The funeral director would be my first guess, unless I have your ass cremated.”
Murphy the half zombie is surly and funny all at the same time.
If you gave up during season 2 I suggest you give it another try. Season two (the house in the woods) was the worst season for TWD and I almost gave up on the series halfway through season 2. I stuck with it, however, and starting with season 3 it got much better and I've been addicted ever since.
Yep. El Salvador. He's seen what happens when government forces take people away.
