Is there any poll out there that shows how Trump will do in a head to head match-up against ANY current Democrat candidates?

There were some posted where he would win against Hillary, Biden, and Sanders by a few percentage points

If FiaRINO was in first place in Iowa, do you think they’d be desperately looking for any crumb of negative news against her?

It’s desperation time at the old corral.

Trump leads in just about every single primary state.

Now there’s negative news for ya.

What nuanced thinking. Too bad trump is in first place otherwise he would not have stuff to worry about.

This polling must be why Walker said what he said in his farewell speech. The GOPe has this polling and is trying to pressure candidates to drop out so that they stop cannibalizing each other and can get above Trump’s ceiling.

I still predict Carson wins Iowa. They are hard-wired to go for the most social conservative candidate.

Poll: Trump Leads, Clinton Under 50

A strong performance in last week’s Republican presidential debate has raised former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina’s public profile, but not nearly enough to cut into real estate mogul Donald Trump’s lead over the rest of the GOP field.

Trump takes 32 percent of the vote among self-identified Republicans and Republican-leaning independents, according to a new Morning Consult tracking poll — far ahead of retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson’s 12 percent and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s 11 percent.

Fiorina finishes in fourth position, at 6 percent, just ahead of Sens. Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas), who clock in with 5 percent each.

Trump is still actually polling better than he was after the first GOP debate, capturing higher favorability ratings among Iowa voters as well.

A Freeper posted earlier, "The only people who seem to like Trump are the voters."

Complete straw argument masturbation since there will be no head to head GOP primary match up.

Romney cruised to a fairly easy nomination with consistent support of around 25% in a wide field but lost most one-on-one match-ups.

It will likely be a wide field until Super Tuesday, at least. The GOPe is just p*$$ed because someone learned how to use their playbook against them.

Because Carson knows nothing of business though he is charitable, I think he could not win IMO.

But the survey also shows that Trump is significantly weaker in a key metric: head-to-head matchups.

I bet Romney was too.

McCain as well.

That seems more like a prerequisite for the job than a disqualification.

Oddly enough I don’t know anyone in Florida who likes Trump. I live near Orlando. I have spoken with roughly 50 GOP/conservative /libertarian friends and co-workers about our primary. No one wants Jeb! It’s divided between Cruz, Rubio and a couple for Paul and Carson.

They all like the effect Trump is having, but not one would vote for him.

So silly. Trump will not be "head to head" against anyone but Hillary or Biden until it is way too late for a GOP contender.

The early states like IA, NH, NV, SC, will all see Trump win, but even if he loses one, the winner there won't have a chance of competing across the board. And Rubio and Yeb are NOT going to drop out before late spring.

quote “The only head-to-head matchup tested in which he would win came against former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush”

That pretty much sums up my explanation for Trumps strength. People dont want another Bush and they see Trump as the only candidate capable of stopping him.

If Jeb got out... it would be a whole new ball game for the nomination.

Another non-story, IMO.

Trump’s not in a head-to-head campaign. That comes after he wins the nomination.

I like how the writer felt that he had to point out that Jeb is a Republican.
