“All Trump HAS is Bullet points.. ALL TALK..”

Trump has achieved no legislative successes.

He claims that he will do things, but has no record of getting bills passed.

The president isn’t a dictator who can order stuff done.

We need a candidate who has a proven ability to make government work.

My point exactly.. Maybe trump can out connive the connivers.. maybe..

Whats not said is maybe his running for president is conniving..
If electing a conniver would do.. Newt Gingrich is the best..

NOPE.. I’m going with a straight shooter.. Cruz..

There may be some freeper connivers.. that feel warm and snuggly with a fellow conniver..

Thats not me..

We need a candidate who has a proven ability to make government work.

We need a candidate who has a proven desire to make government SMALLER.

That isn't Trump. His main message is we need to put better people in charge of running the government. The basic philosophy of liberalism is that we'll put smart people in charge of centrally planning our society who know better than the rest of us. Conservatism says that we'll shrink government and take its powers away because the people know best how to run their own lives.

Granted, I'll give Trump that he's said he'll let education be run locally. But that's why that's one of the 40% or so positions where he gets a solid conservative rating. Much of his message has nothing to do with saying government is the problem as Reagan did. It's all about saying the people running the government are the problem and he wants to put better people in charge. That's not the solution. If we don't dismantle the bureaucracy when we have the chance, liberals will simply use it to hammer our lives once they inevitably get control of it again.

Looks like Trump has already accomplished more in the last three months than the entire GOP has in the last 7 years. All the GOP has accomplished is to give Obama everything he wants without even putting up a fight.

Funny thing is - none of the candidates have any legislative successes. SO your point is moot.None of the candidates other than Rick Santorum and John Kasich have any legislative success. The president isn’t a dictator? I guess obama didn’t get your memo. And which candidate among them has the ability to make government work? You are batting a thousand here. Trump has major successes to boast and Cruz has some success in the attorney field, so I don’t know who your candidate is, but other than those 2 - and the two I mentioned - the rest are duds. Okay- Santorum and Kasich are duds, but you get my drift.

Our recent experience debunks this. "Stoke of the Pen, law of the land, kinda cool" AND "I've got a pen and I've got a phone..." Clinton-Obama.

What you criticize Trump for not passing legislation?! Just how prior to being elected would he have done that? He apparently is smart enough to surround himself with accomplished people like Senator Sessions.

“We need a candidate who has a proven ability to make government work.”

Which candidate do you suppose fits your requirements? Jeb! and Kaisch claim that ability, but amnesty for illegals comes with them. Then, the country is over. Make your choice.

There was a time, not so long ago, that I would have agreed with that statement. The definition of the office of the president has been changed, he (yes, or she) can dictate to the degree that the other two branches (or, alternatively, "we the people") will allow it. It's been working pretty well for the last nearly seven years.

We may not yet be at the end of the redefinition.
