During his “60 Minutes” interview Sunday, Republican presidential front-runner appeared to come out in favor of a form of single payer health insurance for the uninsured ... and openly called for raising taxes on the wealthy.

"Reducing or eliminating deductions and loopholes available to the very rich, starting by steepening the curve of the Personal Exemption Phaseout and the Pease Limitation on itemized deductions. The Trump plan also phases out the tax exemption on life insurance interest for high-income earners, ends the current tax treatment of carried interest for speculative partnerships that do not grow businesses or create jobs and are not risking their own capital, and reduces or eliminates other loopholes for the very rich and special interests."

As someone who prepared taxes and worked with small businesses for over 25 years, that sure sounds like raise taxes on the rich.
I am not a Trump basher, but I can see him for what he is - a New York "conservative" who knows how to package what he is selling. I like much of what he says about illegal immigration, but even there he has a back-door amnesty (let the "good" illegals back in quickly). I don't see anyone I like, but I only like about half of Trump's policies.
I think insurance companies want this, too. Otherwise, they have to set up a business in several states.
They would have to anyway. If I go to an insurance company in Texas which doesn't currently do business in Missouri then what good does that do for them or for me? If they don't have customers in Missouri then they don't have a network set up in Missouri. So they have no discounts negotiated with doctors or hospitals or pharmacies and would have to pay the doctors whatever they charge. For me, my doctor is unlikely to accept the insurance because they aren't part of the network. So where is a win for either side in this?

I don't know about the raising taxes on the rich. Rush Limbaugh had a slightly different take on that.
If he gets corporate rates slashed to be more than competitive, it will help everyone.
If the single payer thing doesn't hurt him, he will assume the aura of a cult leader.

The bigger story being ignored is that Trump said he’s open to Amnesty. He was very clear about that. He just wants to get rid of the welfare and criminal illegals.

Ultimately there wasn’t Free Trade. When China manipulated the whole process in countless ways, the Free Traders remained completely silent.
China demanding our manufacturing process and patent information wasn’t Free-Trade. It was blackmail intended to steal our technology. It manipulating it’s currency to effectively add 40% to our imports, stopped us from exporting to it’s people. China demanding 51% ownership of all businesses, was another clever thing the Free Traitors never complained about.
There should be hell to pay for what they foisted off on our nation. I consider part of it to be full blown treason.
His tax plan is good. But he DOES support single-payer and just reiterated it. That makes him a total non-starter.
Just ONCE I’d like hear someone advocate my health plan, which is as follows:

We already have a “single payer” system for health care for the poor and elderly. They’re called medicaid and medicare.
The little sawed-off faggot Guy Benson said tonight on Fox that Trump’s healthcare plan is Obama on steriods! Does this little candy ass hate the man or what? Trump absolutely did not mention a single payer system for healthcare. His plan makes sense.

All personal income, regardless of where you earn it, is considered US taxable income, if you are a US resident or citizen.
Why not do that to business income?
