It was pathetic how he teased his “secret recipe”. It was like “buy my $75 guacamole bowl and I might let you into my special club.”

I never knew of the “secret recipe” thing until I saw your post.

I guess Jeb figures if they’re dumb enough to want to vote for him, they’re dumb enough to fall for that scam.

Shoot, Billy Mays (RIP) old TV buddy offers better deals As Seen On TV as a huckster.

Like Trump says, they wanted an absolute weak puppet who would conform to everything they said. Even Rubio and Fiorina don’t guarantee that. But with Jeb, just as with Romney, the powers behind-the-scenes know they could absolutely count on either of them to cave in to every single one of their demands every time.

Trump’s got more peaks than the Appalachian Trail.

Given this sign, wouldn’t this be a good time to try to primary out some RINOs?

I often take Carson’s figures to task. Sometimes I take Trump’s to task if they’re too low. Here I’m inclined to take them to task for being too high. Why?

The Left will try ever trick in the book. One tactic we’ve seen little of, is for them to fluff up Trump’s numbers only to claim a week later that he is finally starting to fall and they pull the “gaming tactics” off.

I think Trumps figures in the 28 to 32% range are solid. I am not inclined to buy into 40%. It would be nice, but I think it’s a gaming tactic.

Other candidates might want to suspect overly good poll numbers too. When the polls are then shown to be what they actually are, it looks like the candidate is slipping, when their numbers probably didn’t go up any more than they went down.

Accuracy is important, and fluffed numbers don’t do any of us any favors.

The problem is the poll....They make you pick 3....

Rubio and Jeb have immigration issues.

Cruz comes across as arrogant.

Carson...well....we really don't know anything. He has no political history. His tirades on a Muzzie president or Hitler are just that....

Is Trump number 3?

Does Cruz hit you as arrogant? I hadn’t picked up on that vibe from him.

I agree with him on things. I disagree on some.

I just think his big problem is that is has no charisma whatsoever. Those who follow him will disagree, and I understand that. His delivery seems dry to me.

I've always felt Carson was falsely promoted to #2 spot by MSM...you never see films or photo's of his crowds..never really hear his speeches. Just MSM reports..

I will stand by Donald J. Trump all the way thru Nov. 2016 right up to his swearing in ceremony...

We need a powerful voice, a strong leader who will do and complete what he says and a truthful person...Trump fears NO ONE and that is a strong plus for him. and the fact he doesn't send out ‘cry for money’ emails and letters’...

And Ben is now on a two week book tour and not campaigning ..strange

oh well..Our Nation needs a total house cleaning and let us begin with Trump.

I see a lot of support for Carson from the 30 something crowd. My daughter and all her friends/co-workers support him; they are saying they will vote for him, not even considering other candidates. She was a fan of Ben Carson before I had even heard of him. She also says where she works the only people saying they will vote for someone else are die-hard liberals.

My daughter and her friends cannot believe anyone would vote for Trump and they think his numbers are not accurate. They see Trump as rude, petty, a bully. They don’t see him as having redeeming qualities.

Carson is the white guilt candidate. “I didn’t vote for Obama because he’s a socialist, but this is my shot to vote away racism!”

He’s useful to prevent the race card being played against our party, but president? He’s a constant gaffe machine with no experience running anything other than an operating room. Run for Senate first. Or get a cabinet gig. DHH or Surgeon General.

“It’s clear as day to me that Trump is so far ahead that the others can’t even see his dust anymore.”

You have a lot of fellow FR’s who agree with you.

Amazingly, some of the talking heads in NYC/the Beltway started agreeing with us this week.

I favor Trump but aside from this I think he has the best chance to beat Hillary and any other Democrat. So this makes me an even bigger Trump supporter. This country has had it if we get another Dem in the White house. We are on the edge of this anyhow.

Mexico can go complexly chaotic at anytime and a Democrat president will use this as an excuse to allow in millions of Mexicans the way Angela Merkle is screwing Germany and Europe.

Conversely, the office manager at my (auto & home) insurance agent's office is around 40-45, I think. We were briefly discussing politics the other day, and she said she hadn't yet been following this election cycle closely, and did not know much about Trump. I summarized Trump's immigration position for her, and said I thought it made a lot of sense, but that "some people see him as a sort of brash jerk." She looked right at me and said "maybe that's what we need, right now."

I advised her to spend some time reading Trump's position papers.
