George Pataki 'chuckles' at Jeb Bush campaign cuts [schaudenfreude?]

Jeb Bush cutting his campaign salaries is amusing given how much money he has raised -- at least according to his GOP presidential opponent George Pataki, who barely has thousands of dollars in the bank.

The former New York governor was asked about the report that Bush's campaign is cutting salaries across the board as a belt-tightening measure on CNN's "At This Hour With Berman and Bolduan" on Friday.

Pataki said he knows something about tight belts.

"You see many of the candidates now slashing their spending, reducing their staff -- and I kind of chuckle, because they had all this money to begin with," Pataki told CNN's Kate Bolduan.

What is Pataki’s role for the GOPe’s?

He does not have a prayer of winning, so what is role?

"I think it just is an indication that it is still wide open," Pataki said.

The delusion of positive thinking.

Saw a report where Jeb’s funds are low and he is not raising much now.

Pataki’s claim to fame in NY is that he doubled the state’s budget. He gave away the store. His Empire Zone and STAR tax exemption were the perfect GOP-e shell game. He is there to syphon the BS republican party votes to Jeb Bush.

He accomplished two things while governor—he beat a 3 term flaming liberal Mario Cuomo as a mostly unknown mayor of Peekskill with the help of Al D’Amato and he re-instituted the death penalty only to have the Appellate Court throw it out as being “cruel”.

Useless GOP-e governor who gave us Eliot Spitzer and now Mario Jr.

Jeb could have spared himself a lot of grief by going out and talking with the base.

I guess Jeb didn’t have it in him to lie to conservatives. Like his dad and brother did. Or perhaps Jeb doesn’t consider conservatives as his base.

Someone posted earlier on another thread, that his base resides in Saudi Arabia and Mexico.

Funny how Politicians know how to “tighten the belt” spend less and basically know their limits ... “WHEN IT’S THEIR MONEY”

Rumor has it that Jeb is so desperate that he’s considering a change of party and gender, and then he will run as Hillary’s VP.

I just thought of the best reason to Vote for Trump

If he treats OUR money the way he treats HIS money then Congress will have a lot tougher time spending OUR money for their re-elections and retirements.

Not only that ... I think SKANKS like the Clintons may get more than just a pass by examination.

We just witnessed yesterday what the Rule of Law means to “She That Would Rule” means to her, her Party and I am sorry I use the word “her” loosely.

Random thoughts stacked up for comment

Gnight

I don’t think HRC would have him, but he probably thinks so kindly of her that he thinks she would.

She does like Bush ... she might overlook small things in her way.
