Why? Because the news media, the Republicans, the Democrats and various lobbyists spent twenty-odd years convincing us that America was broke...like a 1973 Ford Pinto. So, we finally bought into the argument, and want someone beyond the typical solution-fix-’the-ticket’ to remedy the problem.
We’ve gone through 8-line resumes to elect the past two presidents. We’ve helped to get a serial sex addict into the office. We sat through various Republican promises which led onto more promises....where we finally realized that they were mostly pretenders. We sat and watched Harry Reid behave like a nine-year-old kid. We’ve watched Fox News and MSNBC serenade us like French classical opera. We listened to NPR give us fake news reporting and political analysis.....to the point where fake isn’t good enough for us anymore.
So, Trump is the answer.

Cher is easily star struck. She can’t see beyond that. Any attempt at deeper thinking would be unbearably painful. When she perceived the Donald to be unpopular, she despised him. Now she perceives him to be popular, so she worships him. That’s all there is to it.

Thank God! For the life of me I couldn’t decide on a candidate to support, but now that Cher has come out in support of Trump, I do.
I read it as she thinks the entire Republican field is so bad, even Trump looks good. Am I wrong?
