Gowdy to nominate Ryan for Speaker: report
thehill.com ^ | Oct. 27, 2015 | Mark Hensch

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) plans on nominating Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) as the next Speaker of the House, a new report says.

Gowdy will speak on behalf of Ryan to the House GOP conference Wednesday, according to CNN.

Reps. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) and Kristi Noem (R-S.D.) are also delivering speeches backing Ryan. Ryan will be the heavy favorite when the House GOP votes Wednesday on a nominee for Speaker. Rep. Daniel Webster (R-Fla.) remains Ryan's on competition.

Wednesday’s winner will face a vote of approval from the full House chamber Thursday.

The victor will replace Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) following his departure from Congress at week’s end.

I hope I am wrong.

I would point out at this point in the 12 cycle, not one person could be found that would EVER vote for Romeny. Then 65ish million people magically did. History has this maddening tendency to repeat. Yes its a new dynamic. 4 years ago was too. It happened.

2 years ago you couldnt find anyone that would vote for mitch or jonbon. Then that happened AFTER they promised to work with Barry.

I want to be wrong. But so far I have been pretty accurate. And I’m not alone.

It's official now, we can't trust any damn thing any Republican says any more than a damn Democrat.

FU to them all and individually for they have earned it.

And about Ryan for VP. And Boehner as Speaker

I stand guilty as charged. I've fallen for their BS.

The traitors are very adept at hiding their true natures and they have a complicit propaganda machine which encompasses about 80%+ of the media.

"But the truth will out."

This time around I have noticed a big change in how the American people are not letting the establishment and the old media pick their candidates. that is a very helpful sign. In fact, the establishment is so pissed off no one is supporting their Jebby Bush, they are now conspiring to take down Trump and others who pose a threat to them (GOPe RINO’s)

The American people will only get burned so many times before all hell is going to break out. I believe the American people have reached their limit with the GOPE RINO’s working to give Obama and his ilk every thing he has wanted to destroy this Nation.

I have spoken to several Union (thugs) who supported Obama both times and are now supporting Trump, so this time around, I believe Trump will get the so called Reagan Democrats that could end up being a landslide election against the liberal socialist policies of the GOPE RINO’s and Obama and his ilk!

It just feels so much different this time around, I hope that I am right, this Nation will not stand another RINO or liberal socialist in office.

Hope so. But the only people more proven to turn on a dime than GOP pols are GOP voters. As soon as Levin and Rush and the rest start their bi-annual mantra of ‘ Folks we gotta beat the dems no matter what” , and they always do as history shows, voters place their trust in our Kardashian wannabee celebs instead of their own opinions and turn on a F’ing dime.

That too is a fact of history. Maybe this time will be different. But isn’t that exactly the phrase we hear every 2 years to justify GOP voting? “Maybe this time”. And then Lucy pulls the football.

I just don’t trust the genpub to believe in anything enough to vote for it.

Your right again. I really believe the American people are sick of their friends, family members, being murdered, raped, and robbed by illegal aliens; Muslims being shipped into the United States by this out of control State Department and then are told they do not have to swear an allegiance to this Nation; Obama and his ilk using the US military as a socialist engineering Department for their ass bandits, transgendered queers, and community organizing; tying the hands of our soldiers so they cannot fight in a combat zone without first getting permission from on high Obama.

The GOPe RINO’s are so vested in making sure the Chamber of Communist get their illegal aliens into the US, it will be very hard for Rush, and Mark Levin to ask the American people to support a GOPe RINO candidate under any circumstance this time around.

So far, not a single GOPE RINO candidate can break into a double digit in the polls, which is a good sign most Americans are no longer buying their BS.

Hard yes. But I think they will go to the well again. For a simple reason. If they don’t, they get no guests/GOP inside info dries up... and thats their lifes blood.]

Which is why Mark never found his last inch to keep his word about leaving the GOP and Rush always seems to carry the water he promised to never again do after Pelosi took her gavel.

When Jeb Bush was in South Carolina last weekend trashing Ted Cruz sitting in the audience was Trey Gowdy.

As McCarthy said, the Benghazi hearings of Gowdy’s were all about making Hillary look bad next year politically. No intention to promote any criminal investigation or prosecution down the road.

Gowdy apparently was trying to hurt Hillary so the man he watched speak in his home state last weekend, Jeb Bush, could win the election next year.

I’m listening very carefully to what Levin, Limbaugh, and Beck are saying or not saying.

Levin and Beck express a lot of frustration and anger while Rush has been analyzing accurately about the phony baloney show the GOP in Congress is putting on from the Corker Bill to help Obama with the Iran nuclear deal to the scripted show to anoint Ryan as the next Speaker with the “Freedom Caucus” as a supporting cast.

Limbaugh has more financial independence than Levin or Beck, so I guess that gives him the freedom to clue us in a bit on the farce going on inside the Beltway.

Of them all I trust Rush the most. But I trust none of them at election time. They have not earned it based on past actions.

Levin has a lot of intelligent commentary and he is often right. What he is not is consistent with what he says the other 720 days between elections and what he says election time.

Beck I have zero use for as a human being.

What’s going to be interesting is that Ryan has pledged to not bring up an immigration bill while Obama is still in office. But how about right after Obama leaves? Let’s assume that Trump wins and becomes President. He wants to build a wall on our southern border. He wants to stop illegal immigration and look over legal immigration quotas too. Plus institute other immigration reforms.

How are Trump and Ryan going to work together when this topic comes up, as Ryan is totally pro-immigration and Trump is just the opposite. Will be interesting to see what happens.

It usually takes three terms (6 years in the House) for good Conservatives to get assimilated into the hive. Take a guess what term Gowdy is in.

You would think Gowdy would look to his own districts history. That is why we voted his predecessor, Ingliss, out.

James K. Polk did, and he’s the only one (and he was probably the most effective one term President in the history of the Republic — laid out what he was going to do, did it, and went home without running for a second term).

The trick that Ryan could pull with Obama is a lame duck session after the 2016 election to lock Amnesty in before Trump takes the oath of office making it fait accompli.

Wow. I gotta say thanks to trey gowdy. Yet another so-called conservative icon who is doing great work to convince people that voting is both counterproductive and immoral.

Take a bow, trey. Without fine “leaders” like you, I couldn’t convince people to take a stance against voting. Nor would I see any need to.
