Sorry Molly, but the last last name I would want to have is yours—and mine is even worse!

Far be it from me to sooth the angst of the left,
but I don’t see much of a cultural shift in an
off-off year election. The parasites are sill
out there and every four years they come out
from under the refrigerator. They put Obama
in for another term even with the knowledge from
his first term that he wasn’t going to do a
damned thing for them. It’s a quadrennial
stamping of their gimme card, and it shows
no signs of abating.

Poppycock.

Hate crimes institutionalized. Gay marriage. Gay scoutmasters. Common Core. Affirmative action for transgenders. Gays in the military. Psychologists coming out against Christianity...

We slow them down upon occasion, but the net direction is obvious.

They’ve got Hollywood, TV, the news, and they are educating your kids.

We keep hanging on hoping for the next election. They are setting up to run the table.

And the GOPe insists we conservatives abandon our fight over social issues.

Looks like we abandoned the GOPe instead.

And won some fights in the culture war yesterday without ‘em.

" Ohio voters rejected a ballot initiative to legalize recreational marijuana by a 30-point margin.

*Voters in Houston, a strongly Democratic city, rejected by a 20-point margin a nondiscrimination ordinance that opponents said would lead to men in women's bathrooms.

*The San Francisco sheriff who had defended the city's sanctuary policy after a sensational murder by an illegal immigrant was voted out. "

It's unfortunate that after all the effort American citizens put into these elections to help the public make the right decisions on ballots, there's still an obamian Supreme Court willing, ready, and able to usurp the will of the people.

Democrats have become increasingly assertive in taking liberal social positions in recent years, believing that they enjoy majority support

They do have majority support where it counts -- on the Supreme Court.

Liberals Are Losing the Culture Wars

This is why liberal SCOTUSes hold off their social change decrees for years until they think there will be no backlash.

Five libs on the court imposed same sex perversion on marriages all 50 states, assuming NO backlash.

They would have done it 10 years ago if they had thought it was safe.

“Liberals Are Losing the Culture Wars”

Liberals whine about losing as they roll up our flanks with only token resistance.

To lose a minor battle here and there is not losing the culture war. Unfortunately, our side has almost been entirely crushed to dust over the decades long onslaught.

Also, Donald Trump is hosting Saturday Night Live this week.

The world of the liberals has been turned upside down. What next? Sean Hannity doing a morning gabfest show for the housewives and work shy at home? The horror!

We’ve won nothing. Elections haven’t been the problem: conservatives have “won” elections for years. The problem is these so-called “election victories” have not resulted in anything that remotely resembles conservatism in the way of public policy or cultural change. Electoral politics is a rigged game and it’s rigged by design. By keeping conservatives tied up in the futile exercise of voting, it destroys our effectiveness as well as our morale and distracts us from taking other measures that would have a better payback for the time and resources expended.

Except the the Judges make the law now.

If the voters don’t do what they want, the just demand the legislature pass the laws.

yeah i think the pubbies are going to win big up and down the ballot next year.

however the dems control the media, hollywood, education—both k1-12 and college and post graduate education, the unions, most professions including the legal professions. they are overwhelmingly powerful in the judiciary.
