This article sounds like a country song, me and my husband, we need a wife.
The polyamory people absolutely despise being represented like this: husband/wife add GF. They refer to the gf as a unicorn, a mythical creature. When most couples decide to experiment, they usually go looking for another woman.
Nobody in their right mind would enter into a relationship where all the rules have previously been negotiated and they’re the third wheel.
What you have left is people not in their right minds accepting such gigs. Take a husband and wife, add a crazy woman, and see where you’re at in a year.
Unicorn.
And yet, this is how the media always depicts them. It’s actually deliciously ironic.
