Trump vows humane 'deportation force'
MSNBC ^ | 11/11/15 | Jane C. Timm

Posted on 11/11/2015 6:34:07 AM PST by jimbo123

Donald Trump on Wednesday defended his immigration proposal after being pressed repeatedly for details on how exactly he would deport millions of illegal immigrants, saying it was doable and "cheap."

"We're going to have a deportation force, and you're going to do it humanely," Trump told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" in an exclusive interview, arguing that he would deport people with a policy similar to the one former President Dwight Eisenhower used to deport 1.5 million by the busload, dropping the immigrants off at remote parts of the border.

-snip-

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush pushed hard against Trump's proposals in Tuesday's fourth Republican presidential debate, saying, "12 million illegal immigrants - to send them back 500,000 a month is just not possible, and it's not embracing American values and it would tear communities apart."

The law also demands that those being deported are entitled to a hearing or hearings before an immigration court judge. There are only about 300 of them. Three hundred judges and eleven million illegals. Do the math.

~100 years.

Hearings only apply to Central Americans, not Mexicans.

************************************************************

Probably run into Constitutional issues with that kind of system. Equal protection clause and all.

*****************************************************************

Do Mexicans, living in the U.S. have protection under the U.S. Constitution?

Courts say they do. Courts are wrong.

Excellent point about Elian Gonzalez. However Trump does this I’m sure it won’t involve jack-booted thugs pointing an AK muzzle into somebody’s face at 2:30 in the morning.

It is quite likely that millions would start making preparations to move back home the morning after Trump is elected. It is also quite likely that millions more would waive rights to a hearing in return for a cash payment 90 days after they get home.

Also, once the fence is up, we could make a minimum number of green cards available to citizens of Mexico each year. The ONLY place to apply would be the US Embassy in Mexico. Quite a few more would leave voluntarily.

There was a question in there?

~100 years.

Give or take. So we're going to have to come up with a better plan.

Courts say they do. Courts are wrong.

So you're saying a foreigner who commits a crime in the U.S. is not entitled to a trial? Not entitled to a defense? Isn't protected against self incrimination or double jeopardy?

The only time a hearing should be afforded is if there is some question about his citizenship.

Agree. Enough of this “ rights & due process” for someone who has broken the law. Add that to the burden on the health care system and freebies given out and its no wonder we are in trouble.

So as soon as a person sets one foot across our border they are entitled to a hearing. The law also says we have to provide healthcare, food, education to them also. So, according to you, that means we have to just sit back and let these millions of invaders bankrupt our country because it’s the law. After the bankruptcy and fall of our country, then what do you believe the solution is, following the law and doing the math of course?

Well stated....

Private sector job creator. Have a government contract with the private sector to locate and remove those here illegally using the same rules as bounty hunters and bondsmen.

A few thousand dollars to per head is still a whole lot cheaper than supporting the invaders and their “families” for 3 or 4 or 5 generations as we have been. The implementation of this along with the elimination of welfare payments of any kind combined with pressure on the business leaders who employ these invaders will solve the problem.

In the meantime...we build...we build a big beautiful wall.
Along both borders if need be. And have only a dozen entry points for legal immigrants that we may need to fill a void or two. Frankly we should have a stoppage of ALL immigration for a minimum of 24 months so that we may get our house in order.

We need to clean up after a series of break ins.

JMH&CO. :-)

Laws can be changed or eliminated.
If I recall correctly slavery was once acceptable under the LAWS in force at the time.
Times change, people change, and LAWS change.
If I break into your house to steal your stuff or hurt you; the LAW demands that I have a trial, and if convicted, be sentenced.
If you blow a 12 gauge hole through me when you catch me, do I still get a trial?
And if so, why? What’s the point of the law when it is no longer needed or wanted?

Why are people overlooking the obvious? How many illegals are here? Millions. Why are they here? Jobs. How many employers of illegals are there? Thousands. It seems to me that it’s easier and cheaper to go after the employers. Come down on them for hiring illegals with fines, business shut-downs, jail time. Change the laws to bring employing illegals under the RICO statutes. Eliminate the employment and you eliminate the reason for being here. Cut off social services other than temporary assistance to help leave the country. Do that and you can solve the problem in a much shorter time than going after the illegals themselves.

I feel your pain. Canadians invade Alberta for work too, they bring their politics with them too. Now that they’ve ruined it, I’m hoping they all go home so we can separate properly like we should of done decades ago.

There’s a whole houseful of illegals from El Salvador renting the house next door. If they disappeared tomorrow the whole neighborhood would cheer.

Humane means you hire Southwest Airlines to give them lunch on the bus out of the country. Peanuts (or pretzels) and a coke.

Three hundred judges and eleven million illegals. Do the math.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, before the recession, the number of people with jobs peaked at 146.2 million in September 2007. Today, 147.3 million people have jobs.

With 94,000,000 workers having left the work force and only 147 million working out of a population of 325,000,000 what do you calculate the true unemployment rate to be? Now remove probably 40,000,000 illegals from you calculation and recalculate.
