Ditto!
LOL!
Well worth the read.
It sure was!!!
I always read that it was his military background and being concerned about not being able to mobilize quickly in the event of an attack but she may have contributed to him realizing the possibility and how to accomplish it.
In any event, we owe our modern way of life to him/her.
Steyn couldn’t hit the nail any more squarely than with this column.
All you need is this column and Mark Levin/Rush and this election cycle is explained to a “T”. The rest of the so-called pundits and political gurus haven’t got a clue.
P.S.
I hope Ted Cruz reads Steyn and takes it to heart. Ted Cruz: Start talking more about the open borders/illegal immigration disaster and surge to the top of the polls. Do it, Ted. NOW.
A love of research and history given by a fantastic teacher and my father.
Exactly right. You only have to get the ball rolling. Idiotic statements like Rubio's that it's just not practical to round up 11 million people are just that - idiotic. The majority will scurry back across the borders on their own once the laws start to be enforced, like cockroaches in a darkened room when you walk in and flick on the lights.
My dad had a big influence on me too.
We talked politics from the time I could hold a conversation.
I remember tagging along with him, every election year, when he would go house to house registering voters and taking polls.
He would gather all the polling information and registration forms and send it in to the local republican headquarters.
He even had me asking questions of the kids and trying to get them involved. LOL.
Wow! I had never heard that.
Remember pulling the lever for dad. He always flipped for each candidate reminding me not to vote for the party but vote for the man. Took us to state convention as a preteen. Lots of chats about individuals. We were a Goldwater house
We were too!
The cold hard fact remains, that Ike won 2 landslide victories. So it is undeniable that American voters had no issue with deportation of illegals. The illegals were not invited guests. They sneaked in illegally. So what is this fuss by O’Reilly about treating them with kid gloves?
Amen!
Ted Cruz was asked by Hannity yesterday what he wants done with the illegals.
Cruz could not utter the words [DEPORT ALL ILLEGALS].
He skated around the issue by saying first we must secure the border blah blah blah. That is exactly what Bush, Rubio & others are saying. So it is obvious to me Cruz is against mass deportations of all illegals. As far as I am concerned, when illegals are allowed to stay, it is a form of amnesty.
I agree. We either have laws or we don't.
Well that’s a problem because even though Cruz has always said he’s not for amnesty letting them all stay and legalizing them but not giving citizenship is still amnesty because we all know how it will end down the road. And Cruz has said that’s is plan.
Donald Trump is the only true non amnesty candidate running for President.
Cruz stands up on the illegal issue or he runs behind Trump. It’s his choice to make.
“Rubio says he and Cruz hold similar positions on immigration.”
Not that I believe anything Rubio says but this is what he is saying in speeches.
