First thing I noticed was “ARMED police”. At least they let some of the cops carry weapons! (I don’t know - maybe they always have pistols, but these guys were “heavily” armed with rifles).

We saw it after the Boston Bombing. That was just for two guys. Now, take 8000 military-age men, disperse them across 180 population centers, then send up a signal that say that it's Go-time for some "SJS" action and watch martial law take over. Then, some pissed-off Americans decide that they aren't going to take that crap (Boston was a safe venue for the trial run) and then the cops start shooting Americans for just refusing the lick the boot.

Say...around the end of October 2016.

I bet Kissenger was Kubrick’s first choice for the character of Dr. Strangelove, but he had to settle for Peter Sellers.

They used to call Beirut the Paris of the Middle East. Now it looks like Paris is the Beirut of Western Europe.

And I was hoping Gore was staying there!

Sadly, I think we all know 0bama and his pathetic administration will not change his policies in the least as to racial profiling.

Eighty year old white women are just as much a threat to us as 25 year old male muslims from the ME.

I can’t wait for January of 2017 to come, hopefully we still have our country.

Two words in the thread title “Armed police”, is just so outrageously silly. I guess it’s because there is just no other way I can visualize a cop, being armed.

I have a feeling before it’s all over, all their police will be “armed”, including the other lib countries over there. Might even see the citizenry haul out some WWII goodies that still work.

Be fun to watch some 90 year old French WWII vet mow down some muzzies with his BAR.

My mother is 88 and she is patted down EVERY DAMN time going through an airport. Good thing I’m not with her or you would be reading about me on the news.

I was in Beirut a couple of days in 68 before it was trashed. I came from Athens, and Beirut was a much nicer cleaner town. It was a very modern well ordered city. Fine hotels and restaurants.

I hear you. Common sense has gone down the sewer in our country mainly because of PC BS.

Dr Stranglove must have been modeled after Kissinger. German accent with those same glasses. I am sure this is true.

I rented an apartment and stayed in Paris for about a month. I absolutely loved my time there. However, I will not set foot in Europe again while Muslims are trying to take it over.

Will probably never see it again.

Missed out on seeing Egypt.

Probably will never go to Israel.

Absolutely no Mexico.

Sheesh, maybe Alaska to see the Northern Lights. Will Ragheads brave the cold?

I agree, somewhat. I’ve been to Europe about 7 times, and every time there I fly into CDG and stay in Paris for awhile, both on entering and leaving. I’ve also been to Prague and Vienna and they are beautiful. I think eastern Europe is still safe. Then again, so is Asia (SE Asia, Thailand and Laos are my favorite). FORGET India and Africa, Africa is super expensive and dangerous. I was mugged or ripped off in one way or another on a daily basis for 3 months in 9 countries.

I hope so, too.

That seems to have to do, partly, with the way a person looks and acts; I mean whether you are targeted. I've found I can blend in in places like Turkey, Mexico and even India, and had no problems. I am southern European/Mediterranean in ancestry. Now, I may not have blended in so well in New Zealand and Australia but had no problems there either lol.

but not unforeseen.

By fighting on all terrain, I hope Hollande understands he must send an army to destroy ISIS and ALL jihadis, tell obama to go to hell, exchange intel with the russians.

AND KILL EVERYBODY

and @#$@$ Saudia Arabia, Qatar and Turkey

that’s how wars were once won.

and guess what. i do think American lives and European lives are worth more than middle eastern lives. Sue me.
