Right. They don’t have any of that in France. They read a kind of ‘Miranda’ to the suspect, but once that’s done it’s back to the station for the slap down. Maybe when they’re done the suspect might get to listen to a judge or something.

I've since stayed away from FB as I can't stand seeing self-serving nonsense passed off as compassion. I've wondered if I made a mistake. It may have been in bad taste ("Kumbaya would work, too.") but did I cross a line?
I mean, who really thinks rolling a piano up to a place where scores of helpless, innocent people were gunned down by Islamic savages and playing "Imagine" is a thoughtful, considerate act? And who then feels compelled to share it on FB?
I spend a lot of time on Freerepublic and I forget the greater part of humanity suffers under powerful delusions.
