Donald Trump Could Win the Republican Nomination in a Blowout

Polling shows Trump to be dominant in New Hampshire, the first primary state of the nation. He's led every poll there since September, almost always by double digits and sometimes doubling or even tripling the support of his nearest rival. He edges Ben Carson in Iowa half a percentage point, according to the RealClearPolitics average of polls taken there in the last month--statistically insignificant, but evidence that a Trump victory in the nation's first caucus can't be ruled out--and could likely be followed by a blowout victory in New Hampshire.

"Trump's got an organization in place," Tyler DeHaan, the chairman of Iowa's Dallas County Republican Party, told the Baltimore Post-Examiner. But he warned that the situation in Iowa is extremely fluid. "If there's one thing I'm going to predict, it's that there's a going to be a lot of volatility between now and caucus night."

And after that? A new CNN/ORC poll shows Trump running away in both South Carolina's primary and Nevada's caucuses, with Trump doubling Carson's support in South Carolina and leading Carson by 16 points in Nevada while all other candidates poll in the single digits.

The South Carolina primary and Nevada caucuses will be held within three days of each other, so a candidate winning both of them could have real momentum going into Florida, which holds its winner-take-all primary on March 15.

But Trump may not need much momentum from a string of early state wins to prevail in Florida. According to a new Florida Atlantic University poll, Trump is strengthening in Florida, with 36 percent of GOP voters backing him thus far. To put that in perspective, Trump has more support there than both of Florida's favorite son candidates, Governor Jeb Bush and Senator Marco Rubio, combined.

And with the ongoing insanity of our “open border” policy, Paris and Germany being overrun those numbers will only increase.

ONLY Donald Trump can blow it for Donald Trump.

I am praying he limits his ‘slamming tweets’ to Hillary, Obama, john-F-kerry and demonic-rats.

GO, TRUMP, GO!!!

I don’t fancy Trump but if he does half of what he is talking about doing, it would be a VAST improvement over the current state of affairs.

I’m rooting for a Trump / Palin ticket myself.

Let’s appoint Ted Cruz to the Supreme Court. :D

I’m not a fan but Trump is a smart guy who unlike obama will actually appoint real advisors not political hacks to his inside ring. One of the hallmarks of truly smart people is that they realize when they Do Not know something or understand a situation. They don’t try to bluff or pretend they are above it all and make decisions based on their own egos.

They hire the best people and WORK with them to learn, understand and plan.

Obama from every report lives in a soundproof chamber of his own brilliance.

I’ve known and worked with two extraordinary people whose IQs and education not to mention accomplishments were off the charts. They did not hesitate to surround themselves with people whose expertise was welcomed and used to great effect

What we have in office is a man whose pettiness and vanity mask his ineptitude and inability to work with others because he’s afraid to show he’s really ignorant.

I’d really hate to see Ted Cruz shut behind court room doors. He is much too talented for this. Yes, he would make a great SC Justice, but I think he would be an awesome VP or AG - he could do so much in these positions.

I’d love to see Sara Palin as Secretary of Energy. She’s got the knowledge to undo the mess Obama has made of energy policy.

Ted Cruz’s intellect behind a Trump campaign. Ted would be the loss leader as a VP candidate, jumping on the first Supreme Court opening. Ginsberg can’t go for very long.

Cruz VP or AG for 8 years fighting endless policy battles with a hostile Congress

vrs

Cruz SC Justice for next 30-40 years relentlessly fighting to protect the US Constitution

I think we would be better served with Cruz on the Supreme Court.

Having built the business empire that he has, he knows how to hire the right people to help him run it. Unlike Obama, who is compelled to micromanage everything, he instructs his managers to complete an assignment, and to let him know when it is done. But, don’t think he has forgotten about it. This is needed beginning at cabinet level and on down the chain of command.

He and his organization has also dealt with strong and conniving business and foreign government leaders. This includes Putin “types” in both areas.

He cannot tolerate waste of money and resources, a new concept for government. Love him or hate him, he gets the job done.

There are many things you could criticize Trump about and all of it would be fair but after the debacle of President Ovomit pretending to lead this nation we need a “can do”, “let’s get the job done” real, LEADER. OK, so he’s a self-centered, egomaniac with little direct Washington experience, yet he has a lot of economic-political experience. He passes himself as a dealer, trader, negotiator and one who LOVES HIS COUNTRY. Isn’t that enough now? In time, his judgment and savvy will improve but with the state of the nation and world right now, we need someone who can command respect and get the country back into it’s preeminent position.

Why would he want to be one of nine since after a successful Trump/Cruz Presidency, he would be in a perfect set up for his own Presidency? SCOTUS can wait.

Yep. Little green shoots of “acceptance” are popping up all over the landscape.

Loved this phrasing from the article: “. . .riding a surge of momentum that causes the lion’s share of Super Tuesday states to fall in line and sharply salute him.”
