Moderate Muslims are only moderately Muslim.
Real Islam doesn’t recognize someone as only partly Muslim either...and according to the professors I’ve heard lecture on this subject, there simply is no dividing line between radical Jihadists and your average “moderate” Muslim, its just a matter of how seriously they are following their religion.

So my take is that there is no such thing as a "moderate muslim".
Being a moderate Muslim is like being just a little bit pregnant....no such thing.
“Moderate” muslims pave the way for jihad. Bringing in the Caliphate cannot be denied by any muslim for any reason. If you aren’t doing violent jihad, then you are practicing jihad by other means, anytime, anyhere. To do otherwise is to become apostate- a fate worse than being an infidel.
The Imams consistently state there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim.....that it’s a western invention and does not exist.
But they do acknowledge there are ‘Apostate Muslims’....which to an Islamic Muslim is one who has left Islam and no longer qualify as Muslim.....it is a conscious abandonment of Islam by a Muslim in word or through deed..as well as Muslims who have ‘questioned’ or denied any “fundamental tenet or creed” of Islam.
The vast majority of Islamic scholars have held that apostasy in Islam is ‘a crime punishable with the death penalty’, typically after a waiting period to allow the apostate time to repent and return to Islam. But others have varied opinions.
Even a nominal Muslim, who was born into the religion but does not believe in it and does not follow the rituals, is still counted as a Muslim and is added into the pool of "peaceful" adherents. But in reality that person is not religious at all and should not be counted. This technique creates a significant error when the entire population of a country is counted as Muslim, even though only a much smaller number cares about Islam and chooses to dedicate some resources to it (even if it's just their own time.)
Moderate muslims are people who do good in spite of their religion’s teachings.

(It's about time!).... the first time that a mosque has been targeted since the attacks a week ago....It went on for two-and-a-half hours, as police were also seen swarming into the nearby home of the mosque's 'radical Imam Rachid Abou Houdeyfa....raided while he was there....
