Who knew there were Republicans in Maryland?

Backlash Republicans.

They see the damage first hand, in this case Baltimore.

As a Cruz supporter I could vote for Trump

Most Trump supporters could vote for Cruz, I believe.

We may squabble a bit here at FR, but we all understand what is at stake.

The GOPe is not going to steal this nomination again, or else next November we’ll hear those dreaded words: HILLARY CLINTON HAS BEEN ELECTED PRESIDENT!

I like Ted Cruz and he was my first pick, but I am now back to undecided. I wish he would give us a firm answer on what his plans are for the 11 million illegals in this country. It sounds like build the wall and then we will discuss it. I wish there was a clearer answer from him. Trump on the other hand says “send them all back”. Trump also wants a wall, but I find it hard to believe a wall could be easily built without a lot of footstomping and lawsuits. Regardless of how it plays out, it has to be either Trump or Cruz. Or we are screwed.

I don’t think that 63 votes out of 191 translates into a steamroller.

On Fox News Sunday:

“WALLACE: Ted Cruz.

LIMBAUGH: Brilliant, and conservative through and through. Trustworthy, strong, confident, leader, and somebody in whom you can totally depend.”

Those of us who know Cruz agree.

The one candidate that cannot win is Trump.

He has negatives as high as Bush, and will go nowhere in the primary.

The big danger is that if his feelings get hurt, he may go Turd party, ala Perot.

Have you read Cruz's immigration plan? Here's just the Law Enforcement section: RULE OF LAW

We need a President who will follow the law, hold those who break it accountable, and take seriously the duty to protect Americans. To restore the Rule of Law, a Cruz Administration will:

*End President Obama's illegal amnesty. President Obama has issued over 20 illeg. I will restore our commitment to enforcement, public safety, and the Rule of Law by rededicating DHS to fully enforcing the law, including through deportations and returns.

*End sanctuary policies, sign Kate's Law, and deport criminal immigrants. There are about 340 sanctuary jurisdictions in the United States. They make a mockery of our laws and endanger our citizens. I will end support for these jurisdictions.

*Prohibit illegal immigrants from receiving financial benefits and strengthen E-Verify. American taxpayers should not be funding benefits for those who are here illegally, and American jobs should not go to those who are here illegally.

*I will protect Americans'al from Obama's executive memoranda rewarding illegality. I will rescind each and every one on my first day in office.

*Increase deportations and end catch-and-release. Our laws are not being enforced

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh says GOP primary front-runner Donald Trump is doing a “great service” by taking on the media and political correctness in his presidential campaign.

“Donald Trump is, I think, doing a great service,” Limbaugh said on “Fox News Sunday.” “He is showing that you do not have to fear attacks from media.”
“He’s showing you do not have to fear being politically correct or violating political correctness,” Limbaugh added.

The radio host also weighed in on other 2016 candidates. He said Ben Carson is “one of the most decent human beings in the country,” but not equipped to be president “at this stage.”

“But any of these Republicans running would be better than Hillary [Clinton] or what we’ve got now,” Limbaugh said. “So based on that comparison, yes, I’d vote for him if it were up to him and Hillary.”

>> “why is it that the net worth of almost all Congressmen and Senators increase dramatically after they are elected and go to Washington?” <<

Because criminals like Trump try to buy them off.

Not quite the endorsement from Rush on Trump that he gave Cruz. He also said he would vote for Carson if it were between him and Hillary.

It is pretty obvious from his comments that Rush will be voting for Cruz in the primary.

He’s part of the Washington crowd (yes, I know, they claim to hate him), he is supported by big money (really big money), his net worth has increased from 1.5 million to an estimated 2.4-4.7 million just since he joined the Senate.

Why is it I can’t get a real figure for his net worth now I wonder? Beside the point, his voting record is something I can’t get past.

He has been saying for 4 years that he wants to enforce the law (the law requires deportation, and jail time for those that aid and abet them)

Can’t imagine why you would have any question.
