“what sort of round would be best for splitting a baseball bat?”

A primitive weapon in the hands of a primitive person is best dealt with by a similarly primitive weapon - fire. A ‘Dragon’s Breath” round is arguably the most appropriate for such situations.

“Dating yourself?”

Why not? The fact that you recognize the reference too means you’re right up there with me.

Jacketed hollowpoint for the “batter”, thus rendering the bat inert.

Baseball with spikes? Sounds like Addy’s weapon of choice in Z Nation on Syfy.

Y’ever heard that the movie was a modern retelling of Homers “odyessy”?

Think walking dead with a fair amount of humor.

12 gage. And you really don't have to hit the bat...

I enjoyed Z Nation much more than Walking Dead after season 1.
