How many more “talking heads” do you think there are?

You need a course in understanding political journalism.

I think that the constitution bars having the presidential and vice presidential candidates from the same state.

<><><

I cannot find it in my copy of the Constitution of the United States.

For a very good reason - it’s not there.

Could this "ranking" be any more convoluted...or subjective??

****************

Well you add up all the various spots the person is selected for and that becomes
your ‘power ranking’. Now I believe the election operates on a different scale in that
Number One is the winner and no 2nd, 3rd place votes matter.

Power rankings are good indicators of overall acceptability of a candidate but the #1 ranking
is all that will count on election day.

Maybe he should select Warren Buffett for VP? Donald loves him!

Donald Trump mentioned 'terrific' Warren Buffett when he was asked about potential cabinet picks 08-13-15

Donald Trump is from NY-—Texas Gov Abbott as his VP running mate would be a terrific ticket.

What a “get ‘er done” WH team they would make.

The first 30 days would be historic......repeal repeal repeal.

They fail to reveal just who it is that is “voting” in their obviously closed “survey,” either.

It has to do with the Electoral College. Its confusing.

Gov Abbott’s got so many plusses....hard to limit the list to the few outstanding ones mentioned.

Consider that as VP, he would be in line for the presidency.

Seems to be a vengeful me-first Latino strain in Cruz——the hateful “us against them” spills over every now and then.

Vengeful? Hateful? “Us against them”? Perhaps you should review your own posting history on Sen. Cruz threads.

But Trump is quoted as saying he is “terrific” and named him as a possible cabinet pick in August. I guess you can’t rule Buffett out if he’s a possible cabinet pick right?

Here’s my take when Carson and Rubio collapse, which is a given the vast majority of their supporters will turn to Cruz. One of the major reason is that Trumper supporters have been so overwhelming obnoxious that many will refuse to consider Trump despite his saying all the right things because a majority of his supporters have been so overtly rude and condescending that they won’t be bullied into voting for Trump.

This is corroborated by the Twitter follower growth update I put out last night. Ted Cruz moves into the number 2 position behind Trump. Carson falls to fourth place with Rubio in third.

All the rest of the candidates, forget about it. It's down to these four and I expect Carson will fall further, making it three choices as follows:

Trump: For those who want to completely upset the apple cart.

Cruz: For those who want a hard turn to the right.

Rubio: For those who want status quo.
