NBC and CBS both falsely reported that leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump “abruptly†ended his speech and left the stage after being repeatedly interrupted by Black Lives Matter protesters at a campaign rally in Raleigh, North Carolina on Friday night.
The reports were flat-out lies. Video of Trump’s speech shows he ended the speech on his own accord. Other videos show Trump then mingled with the crowd afterward for several minutes shaking hands and signing autographs.
A total of about two dozen protesters–some protesting solo, others in groups–were forcibly removed from the rally by security as the protesters disrupted Trump ten times over the course of his 50:35 speech. Many of the protesters were Black Lives Matter supporters.
Trump began his closing remarks before the last protest. He then spoke for thirty seconds after that final protester interruption. Trump built his closing statement to a crescendo and ended with several ‘thank yous’. There was nothing abrupt or forced about the end of the speech.
And far from “leaving the stage†due to the protesters, Trump mingled with the audience after the speech. He spent several minutes shaking hands, signing autographs and posing for pictures with supporters as he has done at other rallies.

Two came out good. Forgot to bring the camera. Just a cell phone. Don’t know how to post them. We actually had real good seats. A college kid did too much celebrating for Trump. We were there early so we asked if we could get the mess cleaned up. They moved us to reserved seats behind Trump and on first row. Not directly behind, but they were great seats.
He doesn’t really advertise these events. Imagine if he did.
Sure didn’t. If I thought we would have a chance to meet him after he spoke, I would have stay till the very last minute. He was greeting everyone around him quite a while after we finally made it to the floor. I don’t know how long he was greeting people in the crowd after we managed to get out the doors. I think everyone stayed till the last minute even though we all knew the traffic would be horrendous.
You were lucky the college kid celebrated,uh, I think. Did you make it into any of the photos behind him?

We were too far away in the pics I saw on television. I haven’t looked at the rally on line yet. Yes, I really enjoy Diamond & Silk, but we only had a side view of the people on the stage. we were certainly early enough to get pretty close to the stage, but I didn’t want to stand in the crowd, so we opted for the seats.
I guess Trump needs to repeat his no drinking, drugs, and smoking for the college crowd. (I can’t agree with him on the coffee though) Hopefully, they didn’t have to drive. NCState is not too far away. I think they came back later. I had been talking to the kids before the one had too much. One had been a Carson supporter, but thought Trump would make a better leader.
A friend of mine was at that speech and he said it appeared to be a coordinated attack. As soon as one protester was removed, another one would start up.
They did their best in Raleigh last night and got nowhere.

Yes, they had them at all corners of the arena. There were only a few and they spread out their attack through out the speech.

The media are trying to instigate BLM operatives to try to “force Trump from the stage” .

Trump should hire some extra security to blend with the crowd. That way they can get the creeps out the minute they start.
He has Secret Service protection so Imaybe that’s why BLM hasn’t been able to get to him.
I love the expression that appears on Trump’s face when the protesters start acting up!
I pray every day for the man. He’s out there day after day, bigger crowds than any other candidate, saying the stuff others are afraid to say. Yet he never backs down.
