Cruz on Trump's Muslim Ban: 'That's Not My Policy'

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz said Monday he does not support banning all Muslims from entering the country, distancing himself from an inflammatory proposal by rival Donald Trump.
Earlier Monday, the billionaire frontrunner for the GOP nomination called for "a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on." Cruz weighed in on the proposal while campaigning in South Carolina, where he was asked if he would support a policy barring Muslims from coming into the United States.
"No, that is not my policy," the Texas senator told reporters.

Trump speaks his mind without reservation and indeed: speaks the truth that others shy away from, indeed RUN from.
And of course the left-liberal media and the GOPe are already all banding together to 'condemn' Trump for saying what the American people think too, that we've had enough Muslim immigration into this country, and speaking for myself, let the sons o' bitches go to some OTHER Islamic country if they want to live somewhere else. Any true Muslim MUST answer in the affirmative if they are asked 'do you believe and do you adhere to each and every word of the Koran?' which means they endorse a political ideology (NOT a religion) which is totally and diametrically opposed to all other beliefs, faiths and political systems. Islam is just as dictatorial and tyrannical as any Communist, Nazi or fascist regime, and has NO place in American society.
There may be individual Muslims who are fine and honorable people. Unless however, they are willing to publicly and powerfully disavow their past allegiance to that subversive organization which threatens any and every freedom loving society, they remain part of the problem and Trump is absolutely correct: NO MORE MUSLIM IMMIGRATION into the United States!
Islam is NOT a 'Religion of Peace' like Jeb Bush's chuckle-headed brother said, and of course Jebuardo has gone on record saying that Trump is 'unhinged' for speaking this truth. How utterly predictable, Mr Tippy Toes is now pandering not only to Mexicans and Latinos, he's going to pander to Muslims too, just like GWB.
WE ARE AT WAR WITH ISLAM Hasn't anyone figured that out?

How about doing what is needed to push these “liberals” (scare quotes because they are quite an illiberal set) out of the political power scene? We can’t be playing this rope a dope any more, where we have to make everything rubber room friendly. We DO need to start genuinely trusting in God again. And right now... the boldness edge is Trump’s.

The point missed by all is ISLAM is a THEOCRACY (Sharia Law).
They view their religion as a government as well. Most other religions do not proclaim to be both a government and a religion.
THEREFORE, true Muslims who come to live in the US are actually lying when they swear to abide by the U.S. Constitution because they DO NOT BELIEVE the Constitution is the supreme law of the land. They believe Sharia Law trumps the Constitution.
THEREFORE, Muslim immigrants to the US can’t be allowed to be US citizens if they can’t honestly swear to abide by the Constitution of the land and simultaneously reject unconstitutional Sharia Law, right?
This is what TRUMP should be saying —
-— “If you believe in Sharia Law and not the Constitution, they are mutually exclusive. In other words, you cannot be a citizen and shouldn’t be living in this country.”

You are goofy. Of course it is possible. It will be even more possible after Trump builds the wall. We do have entry points at airports and we do have a right to refuse entry to people. from countries we are at war with. I is not that tough.

Islam has picked a war with us. Are we going to force our own neighbors to turn cheeks that they don’t particularly choose to turn? Let the elites in Washington live with these guys if they think they are so marvelous.

“He simply stated that banning ALL Muslims wasnât apart of his policy”
So what’s the “nice try”? What do you think this is all about?

Trump plans to deport illegals and âthe good onesâ might be able to come back under conditions, but they are deported first. For how long? A week? You think the readmission process will be as usual? Don't bet on it. Trump is an employer of hordes of maids, dishwashers, groundskeepers, maintenance people, and construction laborers. He is NOT going to commit economic suicide. He has stated that the return process will be "expedited." They'll be back so fast and in such HUGE numbers you will have been screwed compared to your expectations.

Well, it’s what I said earlier about if Cruz would win I don’t think he has the edge needed to effect change. Classic example here. Trump leads, Cruz hangs around but won’t really get out front.

His top adviser Warren Buffet will say it's a bad idea. After he appoints his sister to SCOTUS, she'll warn him that it's unconstitutional.

Cruz is now toast.
He would have been a loser in WWII and the US cannot afford another loser.

Better stick with a real natural born American this election for a change.
Donald J Trump.

‘Rand Paul pushed an amendment that only got a handful of senators including Ted Cruz and Jeff Sessions, Mike Lee and a some others in support.
It was an amendment to shut down immigration from 30 terrorist infested nations for a review to take place.’
If Ted had brought that up in his reply it would have been a home run.

Ted, you’re missing the bigger picture. We are at war and Donald knows it. This is not business as usual. Just as you reversed yourself on HIBs, TPA, TPP, you should reconsider reversing yourself on a Muslim ban and get yourself on a war footing because that is where we need to be.

Now now the vitriol. Is that your teacup?
My concern about Cruz is that he might not be ready for this. He has the appearances down good. But where is his heart?

Of course, because when all is said and done, Cruz is another open borders, free trade republican masquerading as a conservative. It's all talk with Cruz. He is owned by the Wall Street crowd.
If republicans are comfortable with that, then so be it but do not delude yourself he is not anything but a power hungry Charlatan of the likes this country cannot endure anymore.
