What you have is old Soviet communism leavened with a bit of anti-Semitism and a blind eye toward the real dangers of Islam. Equally threatening, you see the beginnings of the breakup of the NATO alliance and a real realignment on a global basis tending toward isolating America.

That assertion is rubbish. Islam is a lot of bad things but it is also a religion. When it acts badly it can be prosecuted but it may not be prosecuted simply as a religion.

I think a large portion of his support may be from the Reagan Democrats. These people want jobs and they want to keep them. Most working people do not believe in importing cheap labor by the millions. And no one, other than the Obama and Hillary types, wants our country overrun by Muslims. Most Americans are not as stupid as the dhimmies and the open borders GOPers think.

Islam is a (evil) way to run a civilization which includes a religious part. This is why when someone knowing better says peaceful religion, they are about 10% correct, but choose to not include the other 90% violent part.
Vision:
Islamic teaching of the Koran, Hadith and Sira has a vision of global dominance on the basis the compiled Sharia Law. The Koran only makes sense when you put it with the stories (Hadith) about the original leader and his biography (Sira). The original leader is their perfect example of how they are to live to please their Allah.
Strategies:
These three bodies of Islam documentation show strategies to take over a/all host nations by peace then force depending on the increase of percentage of Muslims in the host nation.
Tactics:
Their fight is against all Kafirs which are non-believers= non-Muslims and moderate Muslims who do not follow the teachings. Tactics called Jihad (internal personal individual struggle and external struggle with others) have a range of non exclusive options: migration, a host nations laws, money, pen, speech, births, minority rights of host nation, lying/deception, rape, terrorism, torture and murder.
America needs to understand the Islamic mindset to stop the root of the problem worldwide which is Islamic brainwashing supporting its vision, strategies and tactics. This is taught weekly in America and abroad in the Mosques with some more radical than others; however, they have the same vision.
We must also stop the symptoms of Islam. This conquest in action we call violent Jihad or radical Jihad or terrorism. We keep fighting (or not fighting depending on who is in charge) only the smptoms and do not adequately go after the root problem. Since America has fought Islam for over 200 years, we need to change our related tactics, strategy and vision. They have had about 1100 years head start to create a conquest minded people group. And we are losing ground and time as our leaders fail to fight the full spectrum of this war.

All true. But my point is that Islam isn’t a religion under the meaning of the 1st Amendment, and if formally challenged, its claim to be one would fail.

Consider that a Sunni victory means the entire world falls under the Caliphate (a codified political system) - this means that of the billion odd Christians, most would be put to death; count the Hindus as another billion dead; all others (from minor religions to atheists) would mean still another billion. So there is three billion dead. Horrible you say. Unthinkable.
Then there is the victory of the Shia Twelver sect - the current ruling mullahs of Iran; three billion for them is just the start. Their goal is to bring ALL of humanity to Paradise. Total extinction. Think on that.
Islam will keep on going until it is utterly destroyed or is totally victorious. The more thoughtful, kind, and tolerant we are now (in the current stage) toward Islam and its adherents, the higher the body count later. The choice is basically the same one Truman had to make - nuke Japan or suffer more tens of thousands of our soldiers dead.

In addition to mohammedism being a political system and not a religious one, even the ‘prayer’ side of the system demands an EARTHLY kingdom be instituted. So the secular side works politics and war to establish an earthly kingdom and the quasi-religious side works prayer and war to establish an earthly kingdom.
Christianity takes its cue from Jesus who told Pilate: “My kingdom is not of this world.”
As I reflect on what I know of Hindu, Buddhism, Judaism, and other world religions, I can remember nothing about their faith demanding the establishment of an earthly kingdom by conquest.
That said, Trump is right on this because he acknowledges that we are at war. We didn’t let visiting Japanese and Germans roam the land during WWII for a reason. The North knew that having the South roam northern territory was a sign of losing the war, so at both Antietam and Gettyburg they dodged a bullet, because Lee’s intent was to invade the north.
Trump is proven right because all the candidates (except Hillary, of course) were demanding just days ago that we halt refugee entry until proper background investigations were possible. What?...they’re fine with letting in terrorists so long as they aren’t Syrian?
If we couldn’t properly investigate the Ft Hood shooter, Major Nadal Hassan, a US Army psychiatrist, who would have for his position had to have received our highest background investigation, and I’m certain would have been eligible for a Top Secret clearance had he been in the position to need one, then we shouldn’t be surprised that we let the female terrorist of San Bernardino in on a fiancé visa.
Again Trump is being intentionally misreported. He actually said, “until we know what’s going on”. But, the establishment desperately wants him gone. They will continue to lie about him.
Finally, I’m deeply disappointed in Cruz for not seeing the simple logic at play here and standing with Trump.
Oh I agree that real Islam insists that it’s either them or us. There is no peaceful coexistence in their book.
I think that the time is rapidly approaching when we take up their challenge and demonstrate that while we didn’t invent war we damn well perfected it.
Islam will join the Aztec religion as one more murderous cult that wore out its welcome and whose extinction was desired by all of its neighbors.
