Mark Levin ain’t too happy with Trump’s latest ATTACK on Cruz…
The Right Scoop ^ | Dec 13, 2015 | soopermexican

Posted on 12/13/2015 5:12:19 PM PST by Isara

After a pretty ridiculous swipe at Ted Cruz’s evangelical faith on Saturday, el Trumpo continued the attack today by calling Cruz a “maniac” for his efforts as a Senator.

And that doesn’t sit too well with the Great One, Mark Levin:

mark levin on trump

I have a feeling we’re going to be hearing more of Levin’s opinion on this on Monday on his radio show.

Trump might be ramping up the attacks because he sees polling that shows Cruz gaining on him nationally, and actually defeating him pretty badly in Iowa.

For his part, Ted Cruz just made a funny joke out of the critique from el Trumpo and posted it on Twitter.

No surprise about Levin speaking up for CRUZ! Hello after all these months. Cruz has spent most of his time at the lower end in the polls. The first time Cruz hits big and AMAZINGLY enough tops Trump, well low and behold we have a real race.Much a do about nothing in my opinion! Of course Trump is going to say something about Cruz remarks and then some. Cruz purposely leaked a punch to Trump. I really believe this. Trump Smacked back at CRUZ. So what. Trump is the outsider but Cruz thinks he's more qualified. The lines are drawn and it's up to us to choose the better man. The Establishment is going to grind their axes and spear them both in the end because nobody likes CRUZ but they sure as hell are afraid of TRUMP! I'm going to the bitter end for Trump. I want a person to lead us out of the past 8 years of hell. CRUZ cannot deliver or we would not still be here facing more gun control, facing yet another terror attack here because of failed policies of border control, etc. We've voted a majority in and Ted Cruz is one of them and yet,he cannot win among his own party against Obama and the dems. I cannot see him winning the general. I like Ted Cruz but he has to overcome the GOPe and unfortunately he's lost the battle in the senate and he will not make it in the general to win the presidency. If I'm Wrong then all for the better. TRump I want but CRUZ will be just fine.

I don’t know if I can “provide” a source. I can try- if it’s actually floating somewhere somewhere in cyberspace. I didn’t find it on the internet. He was asked the question immediately after the Republican debate, I want to say in California. It was either there or Colorado.

But provide your source or any form of evidence to document that he did it because he wanted campaign financing from the GOPe.

That does work both ways, particularly when you’re coming at things from a conspiratorial angle.

Cruz wants to have it both ways, with his subtle ‘leaked’ comments and pretending he’s above the fray. Trump is a street fighter. He’ll attack you with whatever sticks, or wherever he feels your vulnerable.

Trump’s comments are like arguing with someone and calling them, Fatso, not cause you have necessarily have a problem with them being overweight, but because you know that they’re sensitive about their weight and know that calling them that will make them defensive. If you have a weak stomach, don’t vote for Trump. If you want a winner, vote for him.

We just had a thread where Netanyahu disagreed with Trump and the question was whether the "we must ALWAYS stand with Israel" crowd would support Trump or Netanyahu. The answer: Trump. Now Levin disagrees with Trump and the same question looms for the "If you oppose Levin, you hate the Constitution and the founding fathers" crowd.

I'm guessing they finally found a situation where it's OK to differ with Levin! Guess they hate the constitution and the founding fathers.

Yes, it is.

If you read Cruz’ in-depth ‘review’, or even Rubios...or any of them, really....compared to Trump’s it sounds like Cruz’ dad wrote his and that Karl Rove wrote Trump’s :)

I wonder if Levin even ever looks at it. I don’t see him approving, once he gets into the details of it. Or, maybe he wrote it, who knows :-/

Why can’t we discern the difference between a country and its current (at any given time) leader? Why is Obama looked at as the United States and Netanyahu as Israel?

Cruz voted for the unthinkable, then he got money and support form the CFG. It's called a Quid pro quo and is admissible in a court of law. Plus I can find no other reason why Cruz would vote to give obumber and the dems virtually complete control over American sovereignty and trade policy. Especially when the his own party controls both houses of congress.

Maybe it was biased.

But that’s a matter of unproven opinion either way.

What ISN’T mere opinion is that all of the positions that are listed for Trump are all documented positions that he held and has since said that he no longer does- in many cases after he decided to run for president, and if I’m not mistaken after that chart and those evaluations were done.

Like I said, it could perhaps use an update. If you want to call it “biased” because of that, well feel free I guess. But as far as I know they haven’t updated other candidates and left Trump sitting there with old positions he’s claimed to discard since. It’s old info all the way around.

Beats me. I can separate the country as a whole from its government leaders.

I 100% support Israel's right to exist and oppose the Islamofacists demanding Israel give up land to them, but I also 100% oppose the Israeli government's appalling taxpayer funded abortion-on-demand policy, and I'd give their "conservative" leaders an earful about it if I was President and had a chance to meet with them.

I haven't heard a peep out of other pro-life conservatives when it comes to comdemning the ultra liberal social policies of Israeli politicians, however. Their idea of "standing with Israel" seems to be to loudly applaud everything the Prime Minister says or does and never question anything his government passes.

It is certainly tiresome. I have high regard for Cruz, but his supporters drag him down another notch every time Isara posts the gawdawful thing.

The chart, from what I can tell, is simply outdated at best. They judged and graded Trump based upon the positions and statements they had available from his past when he first got into the race.

Please go to the site and read the detail. The ratings are up to date. Trump used to have 'Red' on the issues of the moral, second amendment, and taxes, economy & trade.

No other reason? Literally no other reason?

As I said, I don’t agree with his initial and fairly long support of it.

But it’s not as if there are literally no other possibilities.

Such as, he supports free trade- which is why he said he was supporting it.

Or that, given that if memory serves me correctly it’s good for 6 years, he was banking on a conservative, perhaps even himself, being the president for the majority of those 6 years.

I still think he made a bad choice initially. I’m not however inclined to automatically subscribe such bad choices to conspiracy theories.

Levin actually thinks a real conservative can win the nomination. I don’t.

A real conservative can and will win the nomination. Just watch Ted Cruz.

Trump said that Cruz shouldn’t be POTUS because of his fighting with all his fellow Senators.
Said he can’t get along with them and cant get anything done.

I saw the clip.

The temperature should start rising here soon.

I’m not really sure why someone like you would tell me to keep it classy.

Don’t you think you have made enough of a fool of yourself for one evening?

This is a fight Trump cannot win. Attacking Ted Cruz using far left talking points is going to go down a treat. All Trump has done is help bump Ted Cruz’s poll numbers to the highest they have ever been. Just keep them dumb attacks coming Donald.

I wonder if it wake up the people living in the fantasyland "Trump/Cruz ticket!!!" world, or if they just ignore it like the Coulter fans did when she endorsed Romney in 2008 (and then, hilariously, acted shocked and outraged when she did it again in 2012) or the Rand Paul supporters did when he first started pimping amnesty and they insisted he didn't really "mean" that.

Usually the Trumpistas will turn on any politician (no matter how conservative) who is the subject of Trump's wrath, saying so-and-so "deserved" it for not kissing Trump's butt, but I can't imagine they'd turn on Cruz. He is a Tea Party and FR favorite, so they've managed to justify snubbing him in favor of Trump by pushing the "there is a place for him as Trump's V.P." fantasy thus far.

And you think, in a country that elected obumber twice, taking a gamble on something like that is rational? I don't think we have much to talk about.

He has doubled down today with an attack on the Koch Brothers. He retweeted something right out of the Bill DeBlasio playbook. Trump is going full Leftists today. He is going full Occupy Wall Street.
