Oh Luv. What torture today. I was in a store today. I heard the awful “All I Want For Christmas Is You” song consecutively by two different artists. I think Mariah Carey was one singer. I counted 17 seconds for the singer to get through the word “you.” 17 seconds. I begged for Sinatra, Ray Conniff, almost anything from ye olde days.

My Christmas is like Miracle on 34th. Street. However being Jewish and all .....

I love the Bradys!

But, I thought it was funny on several levels. Not a real truly famous Xmas show (not movie), not popular (they don’t show it all the time, eh?). Never mind whether I really fit in that way.

But, the Xmas was sort of dysfunctional. Cindy whining about being treated like a kid, and poor Bobby with his race-car injury problems, and those bratty kids of Marcia’s!

Well, that would sort of put a damper on things Christmassy. I don’t think they had a What Hannuka movie am I. LOL!

Soooooo, we have a two-footer sitting on top of the roll top desk, with a Scat Mat underneath. >^..^<

I just love that orange cat. I knew of a Siamese cat who loved to jump onto the edge of the bathtub and then up onto the narrow ledge of the bathroom door. He wanted to be the “top” cat.

I love that film with Sim in it as Scrooge. I've been watching it every Christmas for y-e-a-r-s. There is another English Scrooge film from the 40s-50s that I like, but I can't recall the name of the actor who played Scrooge.
This film ends with Scrooge going to the home of his nephew and his wife, and joining them in a Christmas feast with music, friends and dancing.

We have a cat who did the same thing for a while. She’d jump up on a desk and to the top of the front door when it was open on nice days. She looked QUITE pleased with herself too. LOL!
Hubby finally moved the desk away from the door. He was afraid some of the others would try the same move and most of them are total klutzes.
